So is that a threat against our President?
Paging Secret Service.....
a fractious contentious prevaricator and will go to any length in disparaging Pres Trump or unsucessfully working to remove him from office.
It ain’ t happening Nanny...Pres Trump is teflon you should know that by now
Even she doesnt believe the concerned poll trolls that Biden is winning
And Trump offered to purchase those fireworks for 5 cents on the dollar!!!
It is called a Motion to Vacate the Chair written by Thomas Jefferson in the 1700s. One member can trigger a new election for a new Speaker. Mark Meadows filed one before Boehner resigned, making it a nullify. Even the opposing party can file one.

My guess is that for Nancy and the Dems, polling, on the ground reports, and absentee and vote by mail returns point toward Trump’s reelection and GOP victories down ballot.
She’s insane...I mean really....

Indeed. I was thinking of something else. My booboo.
Interestingly, however, there is the usual practice of the major parties to run Pres and VP candidates from different states. This is for at least 2 reasons, both practical not constitutionally-mandated. First, it might attract more votes. Second, the Constitution (12 Amendment) does require each state’s electors to vote for at least one of the two from a state not their own.
Thanks!
I remember that, but I think she cancelled the fireworks only a couple/few days before the election
Do it! I dare you, no I double dare you! Do it!
You’d actually need more than just a majority in the Senate. It takes a bigger margin to enforce the 25th amendment over the objections of the President than it would take to impeach him. It was intentionally designed that way to prevent it from being used as a backdoor impeachment.
I’m sure professional politicians know this, so when they bring up the 25th amendment as if it were a practical way to remove a political opponent, I assume they are just tossing out red meat to their base, because they know it will never happen.
Yes, they could block the VP nominee from being confirmed, but it’s possible the “Federal Vacancies Reform Act of 1998” could come into play. That act authorizes the President to fill a vacancy with an “acting” officer pending confirmation of the permanent nominee. I’m not sure if that would apply to the VP, but it seems like you can at least make the argument that it does from the way it is worded.
I don’t think the speaker gets a vote on the 25th.
Does she know that?
Would you like that answer in inches or milimeters?
“Is she organizing a coup?”
Yeah, since Nov. 2016.
They know today that Joe & Kammy will be big losers. And with Trump II, the swamp creatures will be at high indictment risk. They’re nervous now.
The VP is a critical actor in the removal of the president. Congress vs not act unilaterally.
One of the section 3 mechanisms has a curious element — Congress must pass a *law*. Laws can be returned (vetoed) by the President!
EVERY member of the House is elected or re-elected every 2 years.
