As far as polls go, we now will have two presidential elections to compare them with “actual” results. So in future, as in electronics, we can create a “clamp circuit” to adjust poll numbers to reflect reality.
That is, if twice previously the Democrat polled +10 throughout the run up, but still lost at -5, that polling services numbers should be “clamped” down by 15 points. The same with clamping up Republican numbers.
Importantly, this should be done for that poll throughout the campaign season, so that the crafty pollster can’t just change their numbers to more realistic ones just before the election, then pretend it was just the voters being fickle.

1) I read somewhere yesterday that Biden canceled ad buys in Texas this week.
2) Texas is not in play. They probably ran ads there for 2 reasons: 1) to trick rich, Austin liberals into thinking Texas is in play so they would donate tons of money to the DNC; 2) to prop up House candidates in the suburbs around Dallas, Houston, Austin, etc.

Thus any time Biden campaigns in Nevada, Arizona, Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan or Wisconsin, it means the candidate is losing those states.

I wouldn’t say that the candidate thinks they are “losing” by visiting these states. Rather, the candidate views these states as close. If Biden were truly up 5 or more nationally, he would be campaigning in Montana to help Bullock win the Senate race, or in Alabama to help Jones, or in New Mexico-—states with Senate races. A visit to NV is for his benefit only and the state only has 5 electoral votes. Hispanics are turning.
If it wasn’t for the insane fraud the democrats will perpetrate in CA, I’d say even that him taking CA would be in question.
It’s like Trump having to campaign in Wyoming or Idaho.

Toward the end of October after the pols have done all they can for the democrats, they will dramatically close to a toss up in a vain effort to preserve some credibility.
I think you have hit upon the answer. Biden is having trouble with the Hispanic vote. FL, TX, AZ, and NV, that is the only thing the four states have in common.
Only 4 sitting presidents who ran for a second term have lost in 120+ years... and 3 of the 4 were purely due to economy.
Only 1 sitting president who won a second term In that time (if ever) did so by getting fewer votes than his first election.. and that was Obama.
That seems to be the recipe.
Perhaps lefties think if they repeat over and over how Biden (Hillary) was in the tank, ppl will riot because Trump ‘couldn’t have won again!!!’
