Growing up the daughter of a Political Science major, the Presidential Debates were the highlight of our lives every four years.
And every four years, my parents' faces would droop with disappointment as every Republican candidate failed to hit their opponent where it hurt. As they politely ignored their opponent's scandals, my parents would say in disgust, "The Republicans are just too damn gentlemanly."
Now we know, that wasn't true at all.
They were RINOs! Republican In Name Only.
They were on the same team as their opponent. George H. W. Bush (of mistress Jennifer Fitzgerald and Boys Town infamy) proved that when he called Bill Clinton, "my son" and George W. Bush referred to Hillary Clinton as, "my sister-in-law."
When I heard that, it reminded me of that famous quote from the 1954 movie A Star is Born. "If you'll be kind enough to glance between my shoulder blades...you'll find there a knife. On its handle are your initials."
The knife was between our shoulder blades. Whoever we voted for, whoever won, nothing much ever changed. We were duped. Played for saps.
Enter Donald Trump.
Thank God Trump Ain't No Gentleman in Debate

Thank God he ain't no gentleman. He hasn't wasted a single opportunity to hit Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden in the Presidential Debates for every scandal, ever crime, every embarrassment, every treason. No punches pulled. No pussy-footing around...um, yeah, bad choice of words but you take my meaning.
He ain't no gentleman and thank God for that if by "gentleman" we mean traitors to the Republican platform and America herself.
Now, when I came out in support of Trump in 2016, the readers of my (then) PsychCentral blog, Narcissism Meets Normalcy, were incensed.
Four years later, they're still disgusted with me and unsubscribing in droves. As they go, they like to throw out this little beauty supposedly taken from a 1998 interview with People magazine:
"If I were to run, I'd run as a Republican. They're the dumbest group of voters in the country. They love anything on FOX news. I could lie and they'd still eat it up. I bet my numbers would be terrific."
Turns out, Trump never said that. It's been thoroughly debunked by Snopes, hardly a bastion of Republican fervor.
But, y'know, that quote's not all wrong. Maybe we were dumb because hindsight being 20/20, the Republican candidates played us for saps. Their allegiance was to the Illuminati, Freemasons, New World Order, Bilderberg Group, Bohemian Club.
They didn't care about us. They didn't care about America. They cremated care. Is that gentlemanly!?!
Donald Trump is a whistleblower. He's #WalkAway. His only allegiance is to America. And if that means he ain't no gentleman, thank God for that.
Trump came to Washington to chew bubblegum and kick ass. And he's all out of bubblegum.
NO ONE RUNS OVER THE DONALD
Trump is a bear-sized version of Toto in Oz...
I agree. Trump says the things we say and says them the way we say them, and he holds no punches. Nor does he need to do so as everything, literally, that he talks about is either old history or new material that we can reference. My god, he is “A truther” and that is a wonderful way to behave.
I will and have voted for him. I was snookered by the “Old Republican” guard esp. the Bushes. I been duped before but not as thoroughly as when I was younger and and busy with my life. Now I am old and have plenty of time to ruminate and read and search the papers, literature, magazines. I have a much better sense of truth v lies. Thank god for the aging process!
Chris Wallace just found out.
Some of the things Trump says, and the way he says them, make me wince a bit. But on the other hand, his bluntness is refreshing after so many decades of nuanced Presidents. He might be the most plain-spoken President this country has had since Truman.
I find it interesting, from what I hear and read, that women (including my wife) thought Trump had balls and fought.
It’s the men whining like it is 1960. Dickless cowards.
LOL. I guess we’re thrilled to see strong men coming back into vogue. With beards. Love beards.
I know what you mean. “Minnesota Nice” isn’t used straight talk but I love it. Funny you mention Truman, who was a Democrat. After reading his biography, I had tremendous respect for Truman. He failed at practically everything until he became President.
Go, THE DONALD! :D
“ain’t no”
So true! There’s magic in turning 40, which I just did.
We had no choice but to vote anti-Clinton, anti-Gore which meant Bushes but sheesh!!! They were bad!
I keep hoping the old style of politician is abolished for good and term limits become law.
Even while watching the debates.. I knew he wasn’t swaying anyone bit neither did Alex Jones on Piers Morgan .
Both knew they weren’t invited there as welcome guests. They were behind enemy lines. Both took that opportunity to lay it down: we will no longer debate with you. We are now at war.
Bidens White Privilege is now demanding a handicap with this new moderator. Joe look over your shoulder Lin Wood is breathing on your neck.
Wait!
You mean Donald Trump isn’t a politician?

Thank God!
Double negative. Oh...you know what I mean!
Trump should demand Orange Privilege...drug check, ear check, wire check, notebook check, contact lenses check. :D
What hasnt been examined is Bidens conduct during his term as VP and his reaction when Obama used the Bully Pulpit to create racial division during the Zimmerman trial.
When as a result of Obamas inflammatory racist comments suggesting a racist murder. Where Obamas remarks were interpreted by black gangs suggesting retribution for a racial incident went on attacking non blacks innocently entering hoods and attacking and sometimes killing them like the Australian from Melbourne; Christopher Lane, here on a college scholarship in Duncan Oklahoma who was murdered while exercising on one of Duncans streets.
I watched it twice. Trump was dominant and a leader. He also REALLY cares. About winning. About being president. About excellence for our nation. The only ideas Biden had were about green energy. As a Californian, we now know that those ideas dont work: rolling blackouts are the result.
