Last night was the first presidential candidate debate of the 2020 campaign season.
The immediate takeaways were that:
1. Chris Wallace fought hard but lost the fight by decision to @realDonaldTrump 2. Biden’s favorite son was Beau, not Hunter. 3. Jill Biden hid behind a mask, Melania did not. 4. Democrats grooming is for mail vote election chaos, Trump knows it & will be ready. 5. Biden looks ill, Trump looked tanned, rested, and ready. 6. Biden allowed to interrupt, Wallace chastised Trump. 7. Police support Trump, none support Biden. 8. When Wallace stayed out of it, Trump won by 3 1/2 years over Biden 47 years. 9. Trump had a mask handy, Biden did not. 10. Biden is the Democratic Party, Democratic Party is dying. 11. America apparently had a recession before Covid-19 & no one knew it. 12. There is a difference between unsolicited mailed ballots & solicited absentee ballots. 13. AOC & Pelosi will be upset that Biden does not support Green New Deal. Or does he? 14. Trump is a brawler, Biden is a name-caller. 15. With 4-5 exceptions, Fox is CNN. 16. Trump had facts, Biden had talking points. 17. Biden will pack SCOTUS.
Given the fact that Biden could be even worse in the next debates if the moderator remains neutral, the Dems decided to urge Biden to cancel the next two debates.
MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough called on Joe Biden to “not do any more debates,” tweeting that the first showdown between the current president and the former vice president was “a disgrace.”
“This is a colossal waste of the American people’s time. If they are not going to cut his mic so we can have an exchange of ideas, then Biden should not attend any more debates,” the “Morning Joe” host tweeted to his more than 2.7 million followers.
“Hey Team Biden, if this continues you, pull him off the stage. And do not do any more debates. This is a disgrace,” he added.

CNN’s David Axelrod also floated the idea that Biden should consider not debating Trump for the final two contests in October.
“I think Biden has a decision to make,” Axelrod said, later adding, “I don’t think the country will be yearning for these. But all you hear (mostly here) is “but...but the suburban women will be offended“ by his interrupting ol’ sci-fi eyes. Of course, all the people saying that are men...Republican men are such mayonnaise sandwiches.

I do hope they go forward with at least the 2nd debate.
This Scully guy looks like a silent TDS sufferer. Should be easy for the President to have him back on his heels. He even interned for Biden. Good gosh, what a small world. The swamp is cozy, isn’t it?
Well, we Americans very much appreciate having a guy in office that’s going to fight back. Very frustrating, over the last 30 years to watch a parade of wussies on our side, let the media carry the narrative, ALL THE TIME!
Its more than that, and I hope more people come to the realization that up until PDJT, it has all been kabuki theater. And, Ill go even further and say, except for a few radio and opinion news people, the entire Political/Entertainment conglomerate is a criminal enterprise. 99% of congress critters on both sides are absolute criminals. 99.9999% of the Entertainment freaks, are just that freaks.
The single most puzzling thing about this criminal organization, is the sheer stupidity of their members. I just dont get it. And when I say dumb, some of these individuals have little more intelligence than a bag of hammers.
Just like that boxer some 40 years ago.
That is an entirely rational assessment - nor does it overstate the severity of the matter.
Trump has approximately 30 days to impress upon America the fact that there has been an ongoing coup attempt from even before his first day in office - and according to the views of former DNI Rick Grenell it is clear it continues today.
In light of the fact Durham has determined to not release his report prior to the election, the American voter is uninformed and by omission is significantly and dramatically intentionally misinformed.
Trump needs to take off the gloves and release whatever he has the authority to release - Congressional practices notwithstanding. A release would not necessarily compromise all future criminal suits nor would it be no more inappropriate than installing a USSC justice very late in his 4 year term.
If AG Barr should disagree with any release then Barr is part of the problem.
The DNC announced that Clueless Joe is looking forward to the next two debates. They are not cancelling.
The first thing after the debate on seeBS was the tv gal asking if biden should do the next two debates. I think they’re planning on ducking out claiming Trumps a bully blah blah blagh. Pathetic losers.
Trump mentioned CHINA and Chris completely freaked and cut him off immediately. I think I’ going to re-watch this debate. It was comedy gold.
And that’s why they are calling for no more debates. That’s all he had to do last night to win. And he did it. He gains nothing by talking a chance on more debates. The drugs may not work as well next time.
No way the Biden campaign is going to skip the next few debates.
If they were to do so, they might as well skip the election too.
Not only does Biden’s skin tone look like a corpse, but his smile looks like a Joker, some bad plastic surgery, dentures or??? Just looks extremely unhealthy and ready for a coffin.

I’m honestly kind of surprised by it. Hell, Biden’s only goal was to go on TV, prove he could speak a complete English sentence, and not stroke out on live TV. A low bar to pass, but he did, in fact, pass it. The rest of his performance was garbage, but I feel like that was, or should’ve, already been baked into the pie.
I wonder what their game is?

His eyes. Big, black, and beady. He was pumped to the gills on stimulants.
“They did a shot of the two from behind. Trump looked hearty, confident. Biden looked small and fragile like he was going to fall over if a wind blew by. He kept closing his eyes to squeeze out the fumbled words. People think Joe did ok but he fumbled his words all over the place.”
Biden did terrible, but not as bad as expected. However, the expectation was that he would have a stroke on live TV and he managed not to. A “victory” technically, but certainly not one to be proud of necessarily.
If you were paying close attention, Biden started to slip into his dementia and began to go off topic several times, when Wallace redirected him, and said, we were talking about XYZ. At this point, it was enough of a reminder for Biden that he needed to get back on topic. Wallace was the equivalent of the aide talking in his ear. He was a big huge security blanket for Biden.

Mistake.
Biden did better than expected and they think that means he can handle it. He cannot. Similar happened in 2016, Trump’s first debate performance wasn’t very good. Then the second debate happened, he scored a direct hit amidships with the “because you’d be in jail” comment.
The smart money would be to duck the rest of the debates.
Biden can’t fight his own battles.
Trump needs to drive this point home.
Trump’s problems are fixable. I think he knows he could have done better.
Shoot, even Wallace look like he got shellacked by Trump. His voice was visibly quivering late in the debate.
