I forgot about this RINO..maybe he can talk to the other RINOS...
I’m not sure of the score card.
How many are (as of right now) definitely out?
That could change with enough pressure but I think we will have 50.
Wow! When you’ve lost a RINO like him... Collins, Romney take note.
Excellent!
Okay, who put the pods in his cellar?!
Good, he was one of the ones I was worried about.
Translation. Alexander thinks that he has a deal with Trump on a nominee. I don’t know who it is, and Trump may have told Alexander that he will consider his choice, but a deal was made.
All will fall in line on this institutional, party vote.
Or retire.
None believes they can vote no and remain in office. Not even Romney. Or Collins. Or Murkowski.
Those are the stakes they will very soon realize if they do not already.
That’s a surprise to me, hope he stays the course.
Suzy Q says she is against a vote before the election, as did Lisa Cowski, but neither said they would vote NO.
Remember, didn't Lisa vote present for Cavanaugh?
It was as good as a yea vote.
It’s over for the Dems. Go take a jump Schumer.
He’s supporting McConnell here. Not Trump. Thank goodness McConnell is on the ballot.
After what we all witnessed with Kavanaugh!!! All Repubs should be on board! No exceptions. By the end of Kavanaughs hearings, he was labeled a rapist! Utterly disgusting. #fillthatseat
DJT, empowered by the people in 2016, to perform all the duties of POTUS.
The Senate Republicans, empowered by the people in 2016, reaffirmed in 2018, to perform their duties under the Constitution.
The US senate has 53 Republicans and 47 Democrats.
Two Republicans will simply sit aside and refuse to cast a vote (Collins and Murkowski), and Romney is a wildcard ( Thanks for nothing Utah).
Which makes the result a potential 50-50 split.
This makes VP Mike Pence the tie breaker.
Washington nominated THREE Supreme Court Justices in an election year. John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln all made election year nominations.

He was one of four nearly everyone was concerned about. He is now on board. Mittens has said rumors he will abstain are not true.
So, unless there are two wild cards no one is concerned with suddenly announcing a lack of support we should have an RBG replacement within a few weeks.
Collins and Murkowski abstaining look like meaningless gestures as far as this is concerned.
I would imagine that McC had much more influence on him than the President.
