Saints WR Emmanuel Sanders says Drew Brees cried HARD during his apology to the team in the wake of his controversial anthem comments ... and now, Sanders says N.O. players have moved on.
The 33-year-old revealed on ESPN's "First Take" on Wednesday that he was initially pissed back in June when Brees said anthem kneelers were "disrespecting the flag."

You have pussys like Brees and you at least one man of principle in the NFL. Tyler Eifert, a conservative Trump supporting TE who wore David Dorn’s name on his helmet. Eifert would have been one of the premier TEs in the league but for a long list of injuries. I assumed Eifert would have been cheap shotted into retirement during practice, let alone the game.

The first inkling I had that he wasn’t as smart as he wants people to think he is was when he got caught up in a diamond scam. He eventually won a lawsuit, but that he got in it in the first place was troubling.
Now this. He cried. Hard.
I don’t fault him for the diamond scam, nearly anyone can get caught in a scam. The details made you think “Good gosh, why on earth would anyone with half a brain agree to that?” but..people of all walks do.
His caving on this racist crap reveals far more about him, and his flood of tears...even more.
