MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers said Wednesday that he has “no regrets” about how the state responded to protests that broke out in Kenosha following the police shooting of Jacob Blake.
Blake, who is Black, was shot seven times in the back by white Kenosha police officer Rusten Sheskey on Aug. 23, sparking three nights of protests and unrest that culminated with the shootings of three demonstrators by an armed civilian.
Evers called out the Wisconsin National Guard early the morning of Aug. 24. The Democratic governor turned down an offer made Aug. 25 from the White House to send federal U.S. Department of Homeland Security troops.
President Donald Trump criticized Evers’ response, urging him to activate the National Guard after he had already done so.
“He made a pitch about, you know, ‘We have to get the National Guard on the ground,’” Evers said. “I said, ‘They already are. We’ve met every request.’”
A day later, after the shootings of three demonstrators, two of whom died, Evers again spoke with Trump and the governor said they agreed to have the White House send other federal assistance, including officers from the FBI and U.S. Marshals. A 17-year-old Trump supporter from Illinois is charged with shooting the demonstrators.
The democrats in power in Kenosha deliberately and intentionally refused to send the police to put down the riots. This action was deliberate and intentional, with full knowledge and awareness, meaning that the democrats in power are fully responsible for the destruction.

Notice the complete lack of context. It seems as if some “Trump Supporter” just randomly shot three “protesters” just peacefully exercising their constitutional rights. Dear god I hate these people.
I spent two nights at a friends business on the border of Kenosha after he received several threats directly to his business and home.
Dam right we were armed. Some residence of a cul-de-sac just down the road set up a well armed road block as well, and we worked together with coms and observation posts to make sure no troublemakers were going to make it down that road.
From what I understand, things slowed down considerably after St. Kyle the Ventilator did his work.

The thing that is going to shut this down and bring people together is humor. The traveling band of assholes came from 44 other cities and if people saw that they showed up in vehicles without license plates than people can flatten their tires, blow the vehicles up, and cut the escape routes and supply lines of the rioters.
I think the value of maintaining ties with family and friends regardless of ideology cannot be overstated.
I think that finding escapism to reset our brains and then finding common ground and things that we can all laugh at is a major priority.
I think that surveying and then monitoring your town on foot with an eye toward fending off a hostile invasion is also important.
The Democrats might win if the country remains a captive audience of the Vogon poets of the Social Science department. We need to make people laugh and regain their perspective.
