Yup. New anti-Trump character assassination tome coming out. Ever since Woodward and his partner-in-crime, what was his name? Lothrop? Ever since they caught Nixon with his tapes hanging out, Woodward thinks his shit don’t stink. But 45 years is a long time to ferment in the Washington septic tank.

My issue is given Woodward’s penchant for lying, taking things out of context and misquoting those he interviewed, I am stunned that Trump would agree to speaking with him on record.

Except for Tweets, Trump has never played offense.
Conservative organizations have dozens of Freedom of Information Act lawsuits pending against the Executive Branch.
Most of those document requests will be politically helpful for Trump, but Trump has not raised a finger to get those documents declassified and released.

Silent Coup is a great book. LOTS of references in the back. Woodward claimed that he had never been in the military. The book showed the documentation proving otherwise.
I think he was working for Admiral Moorer to spy on Kissinger and Nixon during the secret peace talks. Woodward was a communications/radio guy iirc.
