Don Lemon's timbre has never quivered so much. Even when he wept while reciting his own philippic to President Trump, the CNN host wasn't this unmistakably grave.

"The rioting has to stop ... it's showing up in the polling, it's showing up in focus groups," he warned Tuesday night, referencing the nightly violence in cities like Portland, Ore. and Kenosha, Wis. Lemon was conversing with fellow host and quarantine scofflaw Chris Cuomo, but he was speaking directly to his target audience: Democrats, elected or otherwise.

Democratic executives are starting to cave, after giving tacit approval to the smoking out of their metro downtowns. Wisconsin's Governor Evers has requested that the Wisconsin National Guard step in to temper the Kenosha unrest. Oregon's governor, Kate Brown, put out a Twitter dictum, practically begging the malcontents to vacate: "It's time for the violence and vandalism to end so Portland can focus on the important work to be done to achieve real change for racial justice." With that kind of stern ultimatum, it's a virtual guarantee those Portland rascals will pick up their trash and put away their toys before heading home. Even D.C. mayor Muriel Bowser is joining the tut-tut bandwagon, criticizing BLM activists after they bawled out white diners for not showing enough fealty to the cause.

If spectators look closely, they can see Democratic campaign coaches on the sidelines calling the next audible.

Ding ding ding, we have a winner! You hit the nail on the head. The violence was allowed, even encouraged by the left...right up until it looks like it is no-longer having the desired effect. Now that the net effect is starting to push back against the main objectives - thwarting President Trump and getting Biden elected - it is apparently time for the violence to stop.

Don't worry folks, the violence will stop the moment it is no-longer useful to the left. Just like the pandemic. Remember that? Oh, that's right, it's rapidly fading from the spotlight because it's usefulness to the left has just about run it's course.

Remember all these other things that were used to get and hold our attention?

• What about all those offensive statues that needed to come down now! Are they all down? Or is it no-longer important? When it was in full swing you'd think people were swooning in the streets because of those mean old statues.
• What about all those firearms that must be banned now! Whatever happened to them? Not banned, yet somehow we're still alive, still here. Hmm... Guess we'll just have to wait for the next shooting that can be turned into an emotional issue to try pushing that one again...
• Russian collusion? I thought it was unthinkable, unlivable, untenable that we had a President who had colluded with our enemies! I was solemnly told they had absolute, irrefutable proof...but apparently not, or I guess they've decided it is ok or something.
• What about all those illegals and the caravans coming to the border? I thought that was a crisis that had to be solved now! Think of the votes! ...er... I mean think of the children! Guess the "border crisis" isn't so much of a crisis anymore. Dang we must be pretty good at knocking these things down...
• Gay marriage. Wasn't our failure to recognize, nay promote and celebrate a few deviants supposed to be our downfall? I thought gay marriage was the issue that would define us... It sure dropped out of sight faster than a bakery with principles.
• Climate change! What are we at, only 11 years or so left? I thought we were all supposed to be baked and/or swimming by now? I'm pretty sure we're well past more than a few of the "point of no return" as declared by the "experts" so maybe it's ok that we ignore this now. I guess our goose is already cooked.
• NFL player protests. If a player kneels in an empty stadium, does anyone care? Did anyone ever care?
• B. Kavanaugh. Remember him? I thought it was unthinkable, unacceptable that someone with unsubstantiated claims about bad behavior in his past be in a position of power. I guess we had to let that one slide since we're now being told all of Biden's bad behavior was in the past and it's ok to forget it.

Gosh whatever happened to them? No longer useful in holding our attention or shaping the message (orange man bad!). Not that important. Not that they ever were really.

This is satire, right? Don Lemon does not even ADMIT that violence is taking place, this is all “mostly peaceful”. But that little bit that is NOT so peaceful, has wreaked hundreds and hundreds of millions if not billions in damage and carnage, not to mention needless deaths and ruined lives.

So, this politocrat is concerned only because of its impact on the election, not because of the impact on the lives of the victims of the rioters. I despise the MSM who have done nothing but foment the hatred that has caused these riots, those who have repeated the “gossip” with the intent to stir up feelings before the facts have been known. There should be a law that allows remuneration to be paid to individuals damaged by stories that have been prematurely reported incorrectly and not based on the facts. Especially those that have stirred the emotions of people such that they have conducted riots.

Although they're losing the gambit on the riots, the America/American-hating Democrat/Left Party has widespread, increasingly irrational fear going for them.

By making everyone and our society appear sick by mandated mask-wearing, the America/American-hating Democrats/Leftists are successfully slowing our economic recovery to a near-crawl by keeping the American people frightened of a quickly fading disease, distrustful and angry at each other as they have dehumanized us and stripped us of our unique identities, and depressed as the mandated masks serve as a constant reminder that we are just one sneeze or one cough away from certain death ... and many, many people remain too very, very frightened to resist.
