Lemon was conversing with fellow host and quarantine scofflaw Chris Cuomo, but he was speaking directly to his target audience: Democrats, elected or otherwise.

Wisconsin's Governor Evers has requested that the Wisconsin National Guard step in to temper the Kenosha unrest. Oregon's governor, Kate Brown, put out a Twitter dictum, practically begging the malcontents to vacate: "It's time for the violence and vandalism to end so Portland can focus on the important work to be done to achieve real change for racial justice." With that kind of stern ultimatum, it's a virtual guarantee those Portland rascals will pick up their trash and put away their toys before heading home. Even D.C. mayor Muriel Bowser is joining the tut-tut bandwagon, criticizing BLM activists after they bawled out white diners for not showing enough fealty to the cause.
If spectators look closely, they can see Democratic campaign coaches on the sidelines calling the next audible.

Who does Lemon beg to stop violence? Democrats! They own it. Party of crime and corruption on full display. Their abuse of authority deserves pounding head thump at polls and relegation to the dusty pages of history. This is said in difference to some of the honorable Democratic statesmen we have had, but that party no longer exists.

All the Democrats I have ever talked to would always chide me for not being concerned with people’s lives. Not caring about the less fortunate.
Well, here you have the perfect example of how concerned the politically active Democrat actually thinks.
Here you have a Democrat more concerned about how the riots are going to effect the election than he is about how those riots are kill and maiming people or destroying people’s businesses, destroying their livelihoods and destroying their relationships with family, friends and their government.
