No more polling, please...........we have a winner.
You left out that RNC convention viewing is STILL way up for day 1 versus day 1 for the Dems.
Everyone except Indians is afraid of KamalToe Harris, it seems. Thanks Joe for the Trump victory.
Yes, both points he makes (c-span stream viewers are higher for republican convention and trump does lead in independent voters) are true. Unfortunately they are taken out of context and the broader picture is still pretty bad. But a bit of good news to keep the morale up is not a bad thing. I am pretty sure the race will tighten over the next few weeks as people start to pay attention and the debates roll in.
Independents don’t hate America as much as the Communist Party despises it.
Unfortunately, the DNC got higher ratings on tv for the first night according to the LA Times19 million to 17 million.
Bingo. And viewing and live streaming of the RNC convention was down some but not down the 48% the DNC viewing was for their day 1.
When day 1 viewing for Dems is down 48% and the day 1 viewing for Repubs is nowhere near as bad, far more people ended up watching the RNC convention, and thus the Dem natrative gets bulldozed.
“If you haven’t been locked up by Kamala, then you ain’t black!” - Joe Biden
Stop it, bort!
Live stream viewing was way higher for the RNC. Even C-SPAN viewing for the RNC was way higher than for the DNC.
I’m an Independent. Voted for Pres. Trump in 2016, and will vote for him in November.
Interestingly, among the people I have contact with in the course & scope of my line of work, I”v encountered several Democrats who say they’re seriously considering casting their votes for him. In and of itself, that’s big.
Sure, there will always be a couple of old-style Democrats (think Harry S. Truman and John F. Kennedy) who vote rationally. But the people I’m coming into contact with are STAUNCH Democrats, whom you’d never in a million years think would cast a vote for Pres. Trump.
The Independents might end up being the “deciding votes”, so to speak. The ones I’m running into all — every single one of them — admire Pres. Trump for being the ANTI-politician. They like how he spent a whole bunch of his OWN money for his campaign; how he’s kept his campaign promises; and most of all, how he fights and appears to be totally without fear.
Turley’s pitch and his voice make me grab for my wallet. Annoying beyond recognition. However, he occasionally gets it right.
The guy says rating were won by trump which is completely false! Dems won the first night by 3 million viewers.
The political pros within the Democrat Party had their most terrifying nightmare occur Monday night. First Hershel Walker spoke and then Swnator Scott. Both were charismatic and articulate. By the time Scott finished they realized that the polls that are showing big black defections from the Democrats are real. Walker and Scott gave voice and credence to the thinking and position of many blacks. They have grown bitterly disillusioned with the white liberals that run the Democrat Party are clearly turning toward Trump. If only twenty five per cent abandon the Democrats, Biden, many Senators and Congressmen cannot win.
The message seems suspect. If we want Trump re-elected we must act as if hes down by 10 points everywhere.
Did you not read the post, it said specifically RNC was a million viewers fewer on night one than the Dems
New York Post, The Hill, etc, say Trump won.
Thats good news. The real measure will be the ratings for Trumps keynote on Thursday.
