In May we reported on our concerns with contact tracing and our loss of freedom as a result of this practice. We reported that contact tracers will track you and tell you what you can and cannot do. You will be a puppet of the state. You must do what they say for the greater good. Freedom will be lost forever.
We reported that Democrat states were promoting the idea of “contact tracing” and when you realize what it is, you will think you are living in Orwell’s 1984.
Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot cheered the news that Chicago was hiring 600 tracers to track its citizens using the coronavirus as the excuse. We then shared an excellent video (which has now been taken down by YouTube) that explained the madness behind contact tracing. In the video the following points were made:
1. Of course John Hopkins offers contact tracer training (connected to the scary overboard coronavirus chart)
2. Based on you coming in contact with a person who has COVID-19 you will be placed in total isolation for 10 days
3. If you have no way of not sharing a bathroom you will need to be isolated
4. If you are quarantined you will be isolated for 14 days 5. Contact tracer will take care of your kids but you cannot leave your house
6. If you eat at a restaurant and someone was found with COVID you will be quarantined
7. Big government will video conference you and review your place to make sure you are isolated
8. If you get it your family will have to be quarantined for 14 days and completely isolated
9. If you were on a train, at work or in a restaurant then everyone near you will have...

What could possibly go wrong when you scale up such a program? Plenty of things. Add malicious intent and plenty more things can go wrong.
This is the fertile ground where "conspiracy theories" can take root and grow. They are not always mistaken either.
Likely remove them from your home and put them under the watchful care of a government drone in a holding center of some kind.

No, I don’t really believe in this conspiracy theory. But you asked what mechanism could be used to implement it, and the mechanism certainly exists and is quite technically feasible, if someone wanted to take advantage of it.

Realistically? Nothing. Some are convinced the government is tracking them through their phones. Of course, some of them are also convinced the government is going to forcibly inject mind control microchips into them.
There was one couple in Kentucky that had an idiot county health department and an idiot county sheriff doing all that to them. It was ridiculous and wrong and I hope they sue the daylights out of both agencies.
There is no evidence of any widespread program for any of this. Not in one state. Not nationally. You’re spreading fear and misinformation. It is not helpful.
I think the lockdown stuff is because we elect incompetent fools who hire incompetent fools to give them bad information and advice. Government at all levels - state, local, Federal - has never been particularly competent. President Reagan and others warned us about that decades ago. It’s the same reason I think Cuomo needs to be put on trial for criminally negligent homicide instead of murder. I don’t think he was actively trying to kill all those elderly people by putting infected people into the nursing homes. I think he’s just so incompetent that it resulted in a lot of deaths. And I think criminal charges are warranted for that level of negligence.
I don’t think the people in power today are even capable of 1984 style coordinated suppression efforts. Maybe President Trump could eventually get some of that going if he wanted to, but he’s made clear he has no interest in that sort of thing.
Four or five people in the state of Kentucky -all in and around Louisville from what I can tell - have been either placed under house arrest by a judge or had a visit from a county sheriff and health department.
In a nation of 50 different states, 3141 counties, and 330,000,000 people, 4 or 5 have dealt with draconian government idiots. And I hope all of them sue and win. Don’t turn one small group of government morons into a massive nationwide conspiracy. That’s just spreading fear. We have more than enough of that already from the media and the Democrats.
Why am I in this thread? To debunk the misinformation being used to spread fear. The left wants everyone cowering in fear because of a virus that kills 0.64-0.66% of those infected and for which we’ll have a safe and effective vaccine soon. Some on the right want everyone cowering in fear because any moment, President Trump is going to personally kick down your door and hold you down while Bill Gates injects mind control microchips into you.
Here’s the stand I’m taking: stop spreading misinformation. Stop spreading fear. Deal with reality, take sensible precautions to slow the spread, don’t hide in your basement (either from the virus or from Bill Gates), and live your life.
And I will continue stepping in against the spreading of misinformation for the purpose of terrorizing people any time and place I see fit. Stop spreading fear and I’ll stick to the topics I actually enjoy talking about, rather than this COVID-19 stuff.

I am not spreading fear. I am spreading facts.
Contact tracing has been regularly happening in the US for decades. It was not created for COVID-19. It was not created 4 years ago. Tuberculosis, measles, HIV, Ebola - all have had nationwide contact tracing programs dedicated to controlling their spread. Physicians were doing it on their own without an actual program to fight yellow fever way back in the 1840s.

I haven't seen this video, but I will say that one woman's Youtube video is not what I would call an authoritative source. Unless she has official training documentation and policy documents that specify methods other than what's out in the public eye, I'm not too worried about that. Every bit of guidance and policy documentation I've read has made perfect sense. It's all voluntary. It's focused on notification of exposed individuals and providing them with knowledge and information so they can make informed decisions.
If I'm exposed to something that could kill me or members of my family, I want to know about it. If not from the person who exposed me to it, then anonymously from a contact tracer is just fine as well. If I'm exposed, there are specific family and friends who I know are particularly vulnerable who I would completely avoid seeing in person for a couple weeks. But if I don't know I'm exposed, I don't know when I might need to do that. That's the value of contact tracing: not to track your every move (because you and I are so important that somebody cares to track us), but rather to INFORM us and help contain the spread.
I don’t know where or why people have begun to compare Covid-19 to Tuberculousis and other contact tracings for serious illness.
The death rate is inflated in the media. The infection rate is inflated in the media. The test results are distorted via CDC so the White House has directed infection rate data be pooled in a database outside the cdc. We have labs that misreport - one lab had more than half of it’s tests give false positives. We have people being shipped into border states from Mexico to up the infection count AND rate. Cuomo and Newsom with 3 other governors forced Covid-19 patients into rest homes. When I read about that - 40% of all deaths were from needless rest home contagion.
It’s hard to say what the real numbers are because there are so many lies out there. Doctors and coroners have expressed “concern” that people are being declared dead from Covid-19 when they didn’t die from it. I watched a video in Texas where a judge expressed concern that the county was counting 15 “probable” Covid-19 cases for every single positive test or diagnosis. 600,000 people received positive test results when they hadn’t taken the test. This is a wall of lies and Contact Tracing is built on lies.
The woman I cited was not the only reason I stated what I did. It’s just that she provided hard evidence which you dismiss. How many people taking contact tracing training would you say are required to “prove” the content of the contact tracing program?
The Covid-19 statistics are inflated to justify contact tracing and shut down the economy.
THIS IS NOT TB. This is not ebola. This is a Dem effort to steal the election, keep deep staters out of court by citing contagion concerns, and shut down our economy.
