thank you... I am sick of seeing all the anti military garbage on social media - I hope FR would not want to have anything to do with that... I am not suggesting that YOU are anti-military but suggesting that the US government has somehow “stolen” commercial intellectual property rights is offensive - even if you are just kidding - the left does enough of that — I don’t think this is something to joke about - The United States Space Force is a BRANCH of the United States Military a FIGHTING force like all the other branches — the crap about the uniforms being worn by Federal Agents in Portland, Oregon is making me sick as well, but that is another topic

More like influence from the old Air Force Space Command patch. I looked up Air Force Space Command. It was formed in 1982.
That patch may have been influenced by Star Trek.

I saw at least one version of the USAF Space Command logo with the central symbol replaced by the Starfleet logo.

I am a great supporter of our men in uniform and veterans. I have great respect for those that serve.
I am also a casual fan of Star Trek. I could not help but see the similarities between the Space Force logo and that of Star Trek.
I see no derision and did not intend any in my comment.
I don’t see how anyone at all familiar with Star Trek could not notice the similarities between the tow logos, so, I don’t fore see how my post is going to be the impetus of some Leftist posting disparaging comments about the Space Force.
