The Fake FedEx Delivery Gunman Who Opened Fire At US District Judge Esther Salas’s Home Dead By Suicide

On Sunday, a gunman shot and killed the son of a federal judge in Newark, New Jersey, at the family’s home, and shot and injured her husband in the same attack.

The judge, Esther Salas, 51, was at home at the time of the shooting but was not injured, and her husband, Mark Anderl, a 63-year-old attorney and former Essex County assistant prosecutor, is reportedly in stable condition.

Officials believe the gunman who opened fire Sunday, killing Salas’ 20-year-old son and injuring her husband, had been dressed as a FedEx employee, The Associated Press reported.

Unidentified law enforcement officials told ABC News on Monday that the gunman who shot and killed Salas’ 20-year-old son and injured her husband Sunday night has committed suicide.

Officials did not immediately confirm the report.

According to ABC News, the man was an attorney had a case before Salas in 2015. Additional details were not immediately available.

The New Jersey Globe described the suspect as “a disgruntled attorney who had appeared before U.S. District Court Judge Esther Salas.”

Investigators have not released a possible motive or said who they believe was targeted. But North Brunswick resident Marion Costanza, who lives near the family, told The New York Times that Salas previously had voiced concerns that her high-profile cases could put her at risk.

In 2014, Salas sentenced “Real Housewives of New Jersey” stars Teresa and Joe Giudice to prison time following their conviction on fraud charges, the AP reported. She also has presided over a lawsuit against Deutsche Bank alleging that the company “made false and misleading statements about its anti-money laundering policies and failed to monitor ‘high-risk’ customers, including convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein,” according to the AP.

This is a developing story. Red State Nation will provide further updates as more information becomes available.

So the FedEx uniform was a wardrobe preference? Really now. That was the fastest investigation and conclusion in the history of New Jersey.

Time to close that case and build the bike rack.

That’s long time for a grudge. When you see someone that old kill someone, it makes you wonder about early onset dementia.

Sure, lots of 72 year old lawyers have UPS trucks and uniforms just hanging around. Old, like the Las Vegas shooter. Where to they get these guys?

Check the guy for terminal illness....Check his friends...

IF I was terminally ill...and thought one in my family was wrongly done...I might do something.

Anyone can order a FedEx shirt/hat in about 2 minutes online. I have seen no reports that he was driving an actual FedEx truck. He just wanted someone to open the door. Not difficult to do.

Suspect identified as Roy Den Hollander, and anti-feminist attorney who brought a lawsuit before Judge Salas that challenged the male-only military draft, according to two law enforcement officials..

No the judge does not have a connection other than about to take a case involving the pedophile case and what a better way of sending a message to not just the judge but to Maxwell and others who go against these perverts. You do not go to the house to target her, but not search the house to find her, and then drive home to kill yourself. What sounds crazy is thinking this is another coincidence

So the FedEx uniform was a wardrobe preference?

To get a to a target who very likely has lots of enemies and takes precautions, what better way of getting their door opened by using a Fedex pretext for a letter or package delivery, which required someone sign for it?

This is certainly not the first time good guys and bad guys have used this type of pretext. It's done all the time.
