Portland protesters early Wednesday began to set up tents in the park near the federal courthouse and have barricaded streets to create their own autonomous zone, likened to the since disbanded Capitol Hill Occupied Protest in Seattle.
Demonstrators began erecting tents in Lownsdale Square on Tuesday night. The park is just across the street from the Federal Courthouse and was home to the “Occupy Portland” encampment in 2011.
As of 5 a.m., about a dozen demonstrators remained in the zone.
Police said they removed some of the barricades at Southwest 3rd Avenue and Southwest Salmon Street, but demonstrators returned to the area and reportedly threw glass bottles at officers. The group rebuilt the barricade.

An unofficial Twitter page attributed to a group of anti-capitalist, anti-fascist teens who call themselves the Pacific Northwest Youth Liberation Front said protesters want to establish the Chinook Land Autonomous Territory, or CLAT, in downtown Portland. The Chinook people include several indigenous groups native to the Pacific Northwest.

I’m looking for pictures of the stolen construction equipment feeling a little concerned. Construction equipment could be used for demolition, and they seem to want to demolish that federal building. What kind of construction equipment have they got?

I wonder how hard it would be to get one of the city snow removal trucks to run through there , should be easy enough to push those baricades off the street.
BTW, it is time for action. We need to do something clever, like go capture a half-dozen skunks, and let them loose into these encampments.
When I was a kid we used to catch fish like that right off our dock. Of course that was before the indians destroyed the fish runs.

This rioting never had anything to do with any kind of protest. They were just waiting for an excuse, and it happened to be the death of George Floyd. Soros people waiting for the signal to start the chaos.

Without a doubt. One question, why did the Boldt decision end the case? He was just one judge, yet no one took it any further and into a higher court.

I was in my early 20’s when Boldt first made his ruling and the focus of my attentions was only peripherally on fishing rights. But we lived at the time on a huge lake and fishing had always been a part of growing up. All of a sudden the rules changed - drastically. The indians got to net fish the shyt out of every fishing hole and whitey got to sit on shore and watch. After, if anything was left, whitey got their chance, punishing rules applied. We used to sit on shore and watch them rake in every ever-living thing - legal or otherwise - until there wasn’t a damned thing left. They would string their nets and interfere with every other water-borne activity and had several official forces standing at the ready to intervene (on their behalf) if anyone complained.
IMO the indians wrangled the Most Favored Victim status of the day - not unlike today’s BLM. Not earned but rather leveraged and orchestrated. They misbehaved and broke things and got violent and then whined about racism when caught. No one challenged the ruling because no one had the balls to stand up to the virtue-signalers, even then.
