Trump calls NYC a 'HellHole' after SCOTUS rules against him

President Donald Trump lashed out at the city of New York after the Supreme Court ruled against him, granting a Manhattan prosecutor access to Trump's financial records.

Trump said “This is purely political. I win at the federal level and we won very decisively and so they send it into New York... And you know what’s going on in New York. Everyone’s leaving. It’s turned out to be a hellhole. They better do something about it because people are leaving New York, but this is a political witch hunt.”

Trump’s lawyers were lacking competence. Arguing unlimited immunity went out in 74 when SCOTUS unanimously denied that argument in U. S.v Nixon. Trump needs to settle down. He even had Limbaugh thinking he needs to cut back on the Twitter.

Trump is a slow to learn ....... you can’t live with the enemy.

Quit nominating Supreme judges from Colorado’s bolder county, and quit making admin appointee’s from Obama hold overs.

Keep on reaching across the aisle, Play their game.

Fool around long enough and they will be going door to door.

“He doesn’t want to be a loser, and that’s all in jeopardy now,” this strategist said. “It’s less than 50-50 [Trump would pull himself off ticket] but I’m amazed at the amount of New Yorkers that are talking about this — his former friends. ... They think he’s looking for an excuse to get out.”

Which unnamed “veteran Republican operative” would that be? Rick Wilson? Steve Schmidt? George Conway? Any of those Never Trumpers would be a very good guess.

Nope, all SCOTUs did was rule that the Trump team could not stop the prosecutor by claiming immunity because Trump is president. Now Trump’s lawyers have other arguments to present to the state court including the good faith argument that there is some evidence indicating something illegal in his tax filings. Filings that were audited by the IRS already. What is the allegation?

“New York City under Giuliani or Bloomberg is not New York City under DeBlasio with looting, rioting anarchy and more coronavirus infections/deaths than any city on the entire planet.”

Yes! and President Trump ran his business and resided in the city during what I would call the Golden Times for New York City.

So he knows how badly things have turned there under Rat leadership.

I was thinking the same thing...”unlimited immunity” ...I’m surprised his lawyers used that.
Be specific...specifically the bogus case that the bogus AG in New York brought.

They’ll get it right next time at bat.

Which one of the MSM will pay the most for Trump’s taxes ? You know they’ll be leaked even if they’re just plain old taxes returns

SCOTUS declares a President is not 100% immune from investigations.

I guess that applies to skippy 0bama, W, and of course Bubba Clinton, at least in the SDNY

This could get fun

If Trump goes down he will go down fighting to the death. His supporters will do nothing.

Quit projecting. There are a lot more Trump supporters out there than just the geriatrics on FR. If Trump goes down in ANY WAY that appears illegitimate, there will be hell.

I think “unlimited immunity” was just throwing one more step into the mix.

Giving access to Trump’s tax returns is ridiculous. We have an IRS that looks a people’s tax returns 24/7. And like Rush Limbaugh, Trump is probably under never ending audits.
