The Epstein underage sex-trafficking and blackmail story may be the most important story of the decade. It is a parable for much that has gone wrong with Western civilization, the story of the corruption of a ruling elite not merely on a human level but on a spiritual one, the explanation of our current condition.
The characters in this sordid drama seemed to have accepted their damnation and determined to live out their debauchery without even the possibility of redemption. Despite the prestige and opulence of its setting, Epstein’s was a world of despair where the shadow suicide or guilty evasion was the price of stimulation.
There was something joyless about that life despite its veneer of trendy causes and intellectual advancement. There seemed more happiness and hope in an African hut than in their deceit ridden palaces. If that was the view from the top, then it was the view from hell. Cynicism on this scale is hard to hide from the public. What they glimpsed, dismayed. The elite seemed convinced there was no God or worker’s paradise, no balm in Gilead, no justice on earth. But as to the devil — he most definitely existed.
The Epstein scandal was one of many recent events that suggested the custodians had betrayed their stewardship. If culture is the mind of a civilization, no society can long survive the corruption of its own legacy and symbols. The photo of Ghislaine Maxwell and Kevin Spacey seated on the thrones of England as guests of Prince Andrew and Bill Clinton respectively seemed to do just that.

As they arrested Epstine in NJ the FBI raided his homes in NY.
Are you sure the Podestas are out of Chicago (like Emmanuel and the Resident of the United States)? Both brothers owned homes literally down the road from Comet Pizza in D.C. But being in on the Clinton money shower when it poured they probably have other houses around. I wish I could unsee the creepy child porn “art” that was all over one of their homes.
Agree that this scandal could rock the world, but too many powerful people are involved and they will do whatever they can to prevent the names from ever leaking. Epstein was murdered with a politically whitewashed cause of death as suicide. Maxwell will also die under questionable circumstances before telling what she knows. People like Prince Andrew and Bill Clinton have the money to shut this investigation down and have no problem recruiting ex MI-5 and CIA types who specialize in “wet” operations.
That picture reminds me of the movie “American Made” about the drug smuggler Berry Seal(played by Tom Cruise)who flew arms to Nicaragua and cocaine back up from Columbia. He was set up in Mena, AR by the CIA.
When he gets busted by the DEA, AR police and several other police agencies the Attorney General of AR gets a call from Governor Bill. Bill says let him go. Berry walks out the door.
Prior to that there is a scene in the movie where he is picked up by the Secret Service and taken to the White House. He is sitting in a hallway with another young pilot George W Bush, who’s Dad of course was the current Vice President under Reagan and the former head of the CIA.
So, basically they all knew each other. They all were in on it. This movie is a work of “fiction”.
Another story. I can not verify. This was told to me by a guy who was a former Mexican national. He now lives in the US with a Green Card. He married a US citizen.
He was on the Mexican Secret service for a 5 year term that guarded the President of Mexico. He had the bullet wounds to verify his injury in the line of duty. He stated that he and a few other SS guys delivered a “gift” to George HW Bush when he took office from the President of Mexico. The gift was a truckload of cocaine.
I remember, VIVIDLY, from my childhood that most of the guys banging girls in high school and prior were and/or became flaming Leftists.
So it’s quite possible that these guys simply want more of that, even when those girls are off limits, due to the age of these men.

If Epstein had video of the rich and powerful doing it with minors he would hide those in the most secret or secure place he could find. Maybe hid in a Swiss Safe Deposit box or hidden in some clever obscure place. He had to know all his homes would be thoroughly searched.
Nope, it could be important but it won’t be. They will get someone. Not anyone big. And we won’t hear about the rest until they are dead.
I assume that this whole thing is a honey pot scheme by our CIA or people from other countries. It could even be England. They throw a few big wigs into parties. They throw some underaged girls in their too. Then let the cameras roll. Wait a little bit, then let the show the video to the victims. Why is Paul Ryan retired? Who knows? But it may be, that he went to a party. How about the rest of the people who suddenly retired, Chris Dodd? How about businessmen, and Generals. If you take a trip to China, they will offer you girls. And you can assume there is a hidden camera in your room.

Netflix is running a documentary on Epstein called ‘Filthy Rich’, it’s 4 episodes that run an hour each. Well worth your time.
It does a decent job of showing the world wide aspect, the players involved and lots of little facts. Like the fact that Les Wexner gave Epstein power of attorney over managing his finances. A POA?!?!
Huh. Wonder what might compel Mr. Wexner to do such a thing?
