I’ll give the dotard a pass on this one. “Joe” and “Jill” sound a lot alike. But this whole dementia thing is no longer funny. It’s become unseemly.
To be fair, he might just have been muttering “Jill” and it came out sounding like “Joe.” It went downhill after “Good afternoon, everyone,” and the rest is all mumbled and slurred.

Why is he even trying to say he’s Jill Biden’s husband? What is so important about her? Is she the anointed one that’s going to take his place when he’s yanked off the stage?
I guess that would be motivation for her to put him through this, and it wouldn’t be the first time a spouse becomes the politician’s replacement.
This woman must know that her husband is not mentally able to perform the duties of a President, hell, he can't even keep two simultaneous thoughts together for more than a few seconds.

Good point about Jill Biden. It pays to remember that after Woodrow Wilson’s stroke, it has been believed that his wife was doing his speaking points and probably making policy for him
