Much of the damage to the original Constitution has been self inflicted by the amendments added. On the one hand the amendments added by the Republicans after their victory in the First Democrat-Republican War were needed to mend the original sin of slavery. Those amendments have done their job but unleashed a monstrous growth of Federal power that is now used by collectivists to attack liberty.

If Article V ever happens simply repealing these amendments would go a long way to restoring the Republic.

Read the Entire Declaration of Independence and all of the amendments.
