Fire codes have nothing to do with it, the fire inspector is the one who gave the figure of 6,300 in attendance.
Again, that was because he was told to expect having to cut off at 19,000.

Everyone on this thread who thinks this wasn't a debacle hasn't read the comments by Brad Parscale - Trump's campaign manager - who has admitted such (in a roundabout way). It is TOTALLY not what they expected and Trump is furious - and everyone knows it. Don't put lipstick on a pig.
If anyone here thinks for one second that they thought they were not going to have 19K in an arena and thousands in overflow - they are lying. And if anyone here is trying to tell people the arena was really full - instead of half-full (what the fire marshall is sying - and the Trump Administration is ADMITTING) - they are also lying - and that is no different than what the liberals do when THEY have a million man march and 100,000 how up and they call it a million.
At least be honest about the reasons. 1) People bought tickets that didn't intend on coming to make him brag about it and look foolish; 2) 6 members of his advance team came down with COVID and that got leaked (and indeed the White House has said this played into a big part of the reason); 3) The weather was a big factor; 4) The protestors were there and people didn't want any part of that; 5) The National Guard was there - and people didn't want to be in the cross-fire
All of this factored in - and Joe Q Public said "I'll watch it from home. I'm not taking my kids to that" - and who could blame him?
Yeah, condemn Trump and his rally people, but nothing bad about the rioters in the streets or the mob at Walmart each day.
I actually watched on C-SPAN and had RSBN YouTube running on my laptop to monitor the chat. The most I recall seeing is 80K bit I also don’t recall what I had for lunch yesterday. Old age is not a good memory enhancer!
I know it’s not funny but the sign language people do crack me up sometimes. It seems like pandering to me. Why not just have a closed caption monitor running?
