The stories of Russia outstripping the U.S. economy were rife back in the 60’s. Never happened. Commie propaganda. Goebbels moved east at the end of WWII and it appears he just kept on going.
To think that only a couple of years ago under the Obama Administration the world was saying that China was soon to pass the US in GDP and reports were that this may have already occurred. Today the US is the world’s strongest and largest economy by far. It is now nearly twice as big as China’s and the US economy is growing while China’s economy is collapsing.

The same thing happened with respect to the Soviet union.
Weeks ago, I had my IRA folks move me out of all Chinese connected investment funds. I hope a few million Americans have done the same.
I spent over 1.5 years at the US Consulate in Hong Kong and was privy to great amounts of data. I also saw the numbers of these ghost cities and the economic data... China was trying to create wealth and employ people just as the world bank wanted. A trade war with China is literally an act of war on their economy, much worst than merely cutting off oil to the Empire of the Rising Sun so long ago. China can and will survive this disengagement from a world economy and will have to look to herself inwards in an attempt to right the ship of state.
