Received a company wide e-mail this morning stating in honor of Juneteenth workerspeasants are encouraged to wear apparel supporting BLM. Wearing a black T-shirt would show support too. Followed by LGBTQ+ apparel day on June 26, if I was someone who is suppose to be covered by the "+" I would be insulted. Thankfully I have been working from home since middle of March so I do not need to roll me eyes walking around work those days. If I did go to work I would make sure to wear my typical white button down shirt tomorrow. I am not sure what I would wear on June 26. Perhaps once again white.
Lives Matter!
If you need a color
in front of those words
YOU are a racist
Wear your “MAGA” hat.

I will never have a blm shirt or anything. (Except for Blue Lives Matter).
Wear a pocket protector with pens in it. Slide-rule too.
What does that even mean. Sounds like a socialist slogan. All lives matter and we need to take care of them all. If I sent you a random obituary from Let’s say Ukraine, would you be as broken up as if it had been your best friend or neighbor?
Did that life really matter to you?
People need to be encouraged to act and live as though their lives matter rather than demanding that people love them.
Consider alternative employment. I would.
I know but I am above 50. I am scared to death I would never find a comparable position if I lose this one

We're close to retirement and terrified of losing our pensions - which the state of California will probably "lose" anyway, if they haven't already.
We feel like we're walking on eggshells all the time at our workplaces, being White and in California.
Two words that may save you...”I forgot!”
Yeah, and I’m above 60. Same concern.
But there comes a time...
