The email I got when the second donation occurred even says it is a one-time donation. What really bothers me is that their phone number 1 (888) 288-1890 is disconnected. Has anybody else had a problem like this with WinRed?
Recipient: Donald J. Trump for President, Inc Amount: $25 Name: XXXXXXXX Address: XXXXXXXXX Date: 2020-06-14 12:39:53 UTC Donation ID: XXXXXXXXXXX Interval: One-time donation
Sounds like a scam.
Just tell your credit card you dispute the charge. I’m guessing you hit the button twice. Or the button to double.
Obviously a demonicRAT front. Call your credit card company. Cancel the card if necessary. Thanks for the heads up.
Yeah I’m not sure that’s the right group.
Call your card company and tell them you don’t authorize future payments to this vendor. And dispute any charge already made that you didn’t agree to.
Thanks for posting this. I usually use a Visa Vanilla gift card if Im spending money online (besides Amazon). I figure if I get ripped off they could only steal the money thats on the card (which wouldn’t be all that much anyway)
Fox News noted that a contributing factor to Democratic success in the 2018 midterm elections was the party’s ability to take in online small-dollar donations, in part through their platform ActBlue. WinRed was built to allow Republicans to compete with this capacity.[3] GOP leadership began discussing the possibility of building a competitor to ActBlue within days of the 2018 midterm results. WinRed was called Patriot Pass in its initial announcements, with an expected release date of February 2019.[6][2][6] However, the name was changed following Robert Kraft’s complaints that the name resembled that of his football team, the New England Patriots.[2]
In 2019, the RNC and the Trump administration applied heavy pressure to incentivize all Republican campaigns to use the platform.[7]
In April 2020, the platform expanded its previous representation of only federal-level candidates, opening support to state- and local-level races.[8]
But did you get your limited edition free autographed MAGA hat?
Dispute the charge or request a new credit card with a different number. I had the same problem with AOL way back when. They absolutely would not stop charging me for dialup when I went to DSL with a different ISP. Even got nagging telemarketer calls from India telling me that I could not connect to the internet without their service. I canceled that card.

Obviously call your credit card co. PDJT only has ONE PAC to give to (and F no, do not give to the GOP) and it’s on his official website. I’ve never even heard of Winred.
WinRed looks legitimate. Dont worry.
I imagine you allowed the default of periodic donations when you didnt intend that.
They will be back Monday to answer, if not today.
I usually donate at the end of the Month when I get a 3X Match offer. I have no idea who is matching my Donation though.
Looks like they put me on a recurring Monthly Charge without me signing up for it, but I’m just letting it go until the Election. Saves me the trouble of doing what I always do.

LOL
You should be able to log in at https://portal.winred.com/login and cancel your account, or stop payment.
You probably just paid to have a load of bricks delivered to a riot site.
