During Early 20th century, the heyday of the Klan, their epicenter wasnt Mississippi or Alabama and such. It was the upper Midwest such as Ohio, Michigan, etc.
I would think Gettysburg would lose its collective sh*t if they do.
That is a massive part of that town’s income.
As a Christian I demand that the Colosseum be razed to the ground.

Apparently Sharpton has become a believer in the NYT 1619 Project.
Jews should demand the razing of the Arch of Titus in Rome.
The Jews should demand the Pyramids be leveled...
Somebody already wanted that but I forget who.
I have a better solution:
1) How about urban black men stop committing so much crime;
2) How about urban black women stop having babies out of wedlock;
3) How about weenie white leftists quit blaming all of the pathologies of black America on white people.
4) Let’s defund public education
5) Let’s tear down statues of all historical figures who were “racist”: Abe Lincoln, Woodrow Wilson, Robert Byrd, Margaret Sanger, Ulysses S. Grant, FDR, LBJ, etc.
The other day the anthropology geeks on another website were calling for the head of the head of Hobby Lobby for buying cuneiform tablets for the Bible museum...
This week they’re looking the other way as historic sites and artifacts are being vandalized and ruined...
Next week they’re going to want money from everyone to support their hobby in the name of historic preservation. If we took this to its logical conclusion they might be motivated to curtail their fellow professors’ social justice lessons if only to save their sites.
the writer, George Shepherd, is a professor at the Emory University School of Law.
his contempt for the President is clear in the headline:
17 Nov 2016 updated 18 Nov: CNN: The judge who saved Trump’s campaign
by George Shepherd
The election’s close outcome might have been different if the campaign’s final weeks focused not on Hillary Clinton’s emails, but on testimony by appealing elderly plaintiffs accusing Trump of defrauding them of their life savings. News reports would have focused not on Trump speaking before thousands of adoring supporters at his rallies, but instead on Trump sweating under humiliating cross-examination.
In the next couple of weeks, Trump may finally have to face in court the people who claim that Trump University defrauded them, although his lawyers are trying to convince Judge Curiel to postpone the trial yet again.
But, as much as anyone else, Judge Curiel, the “Mexican” judge whom Trump attacked, is arguably responsible for Trump being President Trump — not just Donald Trump, fraud defendant.

It is against federal law to remove Confederate monuments.
I think that was Zawahiri’s brother during the Arab Spring?
Let’s start with the 50+ monuments/buildings named in honor of Robert Byrd in West Virginia. Joe Manchin should sponsor that legislation.
Abd means ‘slave’
>>>Rewriting your own history doesnt work
Wasn’t that the ourpose of the statues. I don’t see any to Grant, Lincoln and Sherman in towns across the South. Aren’t they a part of history?
“Wasnt that the purpose of the statues. I dont see any to Grant, Lincoln and Sherman in towns across the South. Arent they a part of history?”
Of course it was the purpose of the statues. To present the Confederates as heroes rather than traitorous losers.
Remove all traces of the past and you’re condemned to repeat it.
What next? Bulldoze half of Gettysburg, remove the monuments and confederate grave sites? By the time my ancestors arrive, it was long over. Good or Bad it was just History. What next, destroy Rome, remove everything that the Romans built? Then we’ll bull doze the Pyramids? Get over it, that was all then, this is now. We learn from the mistakes of the past, but there will always be some, who feel they suffered from something that happened hundreds of years ago. ??? My ancestors probably dealt in slavery, they took young blonde attractive girls and sold them to the Arabs to fill their harems. Every society on the planet experienced a bad time in their history. But crying over it centuries later is insane. Live for today, don’t dwell on the bad that was. It was bad for those who experienced it, not for those who are separated by 5+ generations.
