The murder of George Floyd, he said, woke people up. BLM is now “mobilizing its base and plans to develop a highly-trained “military” arm to challenge police brutality head on.” Newsome said they will send out armed “Peace Officers” to “patrol black communities to challenge law enforcement and stop police brutality, reminiscent of the Black Panther Party.”

Newsome, 43, has a law degree and prior to becoming a full-time activist, he was a project manager at a law firm. The interview was held in the offices of NCredible Entertainment, owned by actor and musician BLM supporter Nick Cannon.

He explained the group had spent the day creating the “‘Black Opts’ blueprint – which stands for Black Opportunities – a new direction he hopes will be the beginning of the liberation of black people.” The group is being advised by black Special Forces officers.

Perhaps as long as Trump is President that might be true, but what happens if Biden wins and his VP choice is Pocahontas or Kamala Harris or some other really radical...

Or what happens in 2024 when Trump leaves office and the Republicans go back to the Romney/McCain/Bush wing of the party for a nominee....

I could easily see this type of thing happening....

Local and State officials would pull back and allow it to happen....

Think Chicago, the police have pulled back for years now and the violence is 3rd world and no one cares...

The would use the continued violence to actually advocate for BLM militants to control city areas while be heavily armed.....

You talk about Muslim no-go zones, we sort of have police no-go zones now, without the armed militants...

Abolishing/busting police unions/firemen/emt unions and then teacher unions @ city/state/US levels is a new goal/agenda for the democrats in charge of blue cities
