2008, 2012, 2016, 2020 - all of these election cycles in a row this guy has endorsed the Democrat candidate. Not even McCain and Romney were acceptable to Colin Powell.

No problem powell, the 70-80 million voters will take care of that support for you. You stay in the soft arms of the commies where you laid down after you went into politics.

I REFUSE TO CALL THEM ‘REPUBLICANS’ and if they are a prime example then it is time for me to become a non-Republican, or should I say...’former Republican’ ? after 59 years!!!!
VOTING AMERICANS NEED TO VOTE DJT OR WE WILL HAVE NO MORE ‘AMERICA’.

Did Powell support Trump in 2016?
To: Sir Napsalot
Don’t forget Mattis and Kelly. It is time these generals, so-called, salute the CIC and do a McArther, just fade away and quietly collect their pensions.

Powell has never supported Trump. His popularity has waned considerably so he has to come out with some proclamation every so often to seem relevant. Even in the History Channel's love fest with Powell they had to admit his complicity in covering up the My Lai Massacre. He only spoke out against it when the war crimes trials began because he saw the writing on the wall. History Channel pumped up his time as a ARVN liaison officer to show he was a grand strategist. In reality he was the perfect token black, (before anyone gets upset, we are talking about the 60's the military had only been integrated for a decade or more, times were different, there was a push to bring in black officers and show case integration) a kiss ass yes man, an excellent administrator but no war fighter. He was a Perfumed General not a fighter so of course he hates Trump. I think there is more in his closet so he stayed out of politics.

For decades we were led to believe the Swamp Dems and GOP establishments were different. Now we know theyre like WWE wrestling... it looks like a fight, sounds like a fight, but Trump’s surprise 2016 win exposed it as just theater and scripted... the outcome already decided to benefit only them... we get empty promises. The Swamp and its media guardians have raged in uncontrolled fury ever since he dethroned them... they will burn down the country and us with it to rid themselves of the Orange menace and his “deplorables!”

Powell was NEVER a Republican. He was a wishy washy tweener who liked straddling the fence politically.
Powell never ran for president because he has a closet FULL of SKELETONS. What they are I don’t know. His wife never wanted him to run, what does she know?
I’ll never forget how the media were so embarrassed by Colin Powell’s first name.
“Colin is an English-language masculine given name. It has two distinct origins: A diminutive form of “Colle”, itself an Old French short form of the name Nicolas (Nicholas). ... An anglicized form of the Gaelic name Cuilen, Cailean, modern Irish spelling Coileáin, meaning “whelp, cub”.”
He doesn’t look French or Irish!
He pronounces Colin like “Colon” as in Colon Cancer. The media for YEARS wouldn’t accept it and pronounced it C”ah”lin. As if he were Irish.
I was unsure of the correct pronunciation myself since the “media” ALWAYS called him C”ah”lin. Then one day I heard Colin Powell himself pronounce HIS OWN NAME “Colon”.
I laughed out loud! The “media” and celebrities were embarrassed for him because of his name when they end up embarrassing THEMSELVES! You (not even the media) can tell someone how to pronounce THEIR OWN NAME!
It’s THEIRS!

What a disappointment he turned out to be. By supporting Biden he supports this becoming an amoral nation doomed to condemnation by God’s judgment. It is not about politics. It is not about the economy. It is not about globalization. It is not about court picks. It is not about trade. It is not about tariffs. It is not about defense. Good people do disagree on those issues and there is often not one right answer.
It is about the temporal and spiritual evils that will be loosed on our country if we elect a president who supports an agenda that applauds the crushing of religious freedom. That thirsts for the death of more preborn children. That would poison the minds of children with sexual perversions. That calls blatant lies truth. That scorns a nation of laws and would replace it with a nation of competing victim hoods.
A godless wasteland is not a pretty sight. It does not happen overnight. But the warning signs have been given. Trump is not the savior. But at least he knows he has one.

he can’t support President Trump this year, doesn’t that imply that he supported him in 2016? Powell is just another Affirmative Action general and liar. He was foisted upon us first by Reagan and then Bush the First and Second.

I have only served with one Army General so I cannot speak to them. Because of my Rate I have been on staff with Admirals and Captains, and have served on staff with a number of Marine Generals and Colonels fast tracked to General. I have served with Marine Colonels who were arrogant pricks, the few exceptions being Mustangs who were at their terminal rank or apolitical Colonels who were good men and women. I only have deep respect for one Marine General I served with directly, he was one of the smartest people I have ever dealt with.
Most Marine Corps Generals and Colonels who plan to be Generals are Grade A number one arrogant pricks. One actually told me nothing that he did while our CO will hurt his career, this after I made him put in writing that he was ordering me to violate federal guidelines and give out hundreds of Marine's personal data to unsecured sources via unsecured servers. He was right he made General a year later, his predecessor thought the same thing until he was forced to retired. Sadly, he seemed to actually be a decent human being. Even when caught, the Colonels and Generals cover for each other until some outside source becomes involved. Like the Marine COS who got caught molesting an under aged girl and I heard he had some underage porn as well.
Admirals vary and are less arrogant as a whole. Mullen's was an exception, he was an arrogant prick. He was a pure political creature and another Perfumed Prince of a Flag Officer. I have gone out drinking with Admirals, very few seemed to be as arrogant as Marine senior Officers. I always thought this was because the Navy placed a much higher premium on education and intelligence in the enlisted ranks. I knew a Chief who had an MBA, who worked for an O5 with a Poli Sci degree. No big deal we understood our jobs. One Captain said he told the Ship where to go and the Chiefs made it get there. Marine Corps prefers yes men in all ranks. The Navy mission never really changes in peace or war. The Marine Corps at war is a sight to behold, the Marine Corps during peacetime earns it's nickname “the suck.”
I mention all this because it seems this soft coup by the military is being led by Naval Officers (Flag and General) Those arrogant pricks are the ones now speaking out against the President and fomenting disrespect and even revolt in the ranks. We obviously made too many General Officers and stationed left them in DC where they became swamp creatures.

I heard or read it somewhere we no longer live in a representative republic, but rather we live in a state representative socialism, or something to that effect.
True, we elect our leaders but we're given almost nothing but politicians who want nothing to do with the principles upon which this country was founded, but instead want power at all costs.
So yes, you are correct, everything on capital hill is nothing but a scripted dance, and the blind sheeple just play along. That's why every successive presidential election has become high stakes for the continuation of this once great nation, a nation that I can no longer wholeheartedly endorse, exceptions made for good leaders of course.

We obviously made too many General Officers and stationed left them in DC where they became swamp creatures. Well, if a General can't win a war...or defend our country he might as well live off 'friends' he made while serving ( friends who sell arms at a billion a pop) or join the 'group-think of the industrial complex. Money, money, money power...
The real problem?
Trump's NOT interested in fighting useless expensive wars... so the jerks can't do 'favors' for the folks who hire them when they 'retire'. For all we know they work for the Chinese now... or their friends and families do... That might be another reason they like Joe Biden and his son Hunter's 'style'... Rakin' the cash in...
