Democrat economist Steve Rattner who, as you can see, predicted doom and gloom for employment in April was absolutely SHOCKED by the May jobs report which showed a sharp rise in employment. Also note that back in April he seemed to hopefully anticipate double-digit unemployment on Election Day. A possibility that was probably shattered by the latest jobs report.
PING!
And an even sadder look the day AFTER the election.
Oh, my democrats, I'm afraid the economy will be quite operational when the November elections arrive"
It’s amazing how these so called “experts” in so many areas can be so consistently wrong and still have any shred of credibility....

If credibility was an issue, most of the news msm would not even exist.
It isn’t about being right or wrong factually, it is about being politically correct.
I truly look for an expert as someone who has years of experience in a particular field, who is highly regarded and is very independent. I tend to find that most of these supposed independent experts turn out to be very left leaning and it skews their judgement.
These lefties seem to be offended by the May jobs report. How dare these people get back to work? Just who do these peons think they are?
Per Common Sense, society is a blessing but government is at best a necessary evil - and at worst an intolerable evil. Socialists are cynical about society, and naive about government. The surprise is not that such an approach fails (at least, fails its stated goals) every time its tried. The surprise is that such arrant nonsense gets any hearing at all from anyone with a room-temperature IQ.
Hell be even more shocked next month.
At least he didn’t make any excuses or throw a bunch of crap up to defend himself, he was shocked and admitted it.
Kind of refreshing in a way compared to most who immediately go on the defensive and start blaming others or even the numbers to deflect or defend their position. He at least admitted he was honestly shocked, which I give him credit for.
