Dr. Cornel West said on Friday we are witnessing the failed social experiment that is the United States of America in the protests and riots that have followed the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police. West told CNN host Anderson Cooper that what is going on is rebellion to a failed capitalist economy that does not protect the people. West, a professor, denounced the neoliberal wing of the Democratic party that is all about "black faces in high places" but not actual change. The professor remarked even those black faces often lose legitimacy because they ingriatiate themselves into the establishment neo-liberal Democratic party.

West is correct in asserting that America faces a spiritual crisis, one that requires "real nourishment for soul, for meaning, for purpose." He is confused in thinking this is driven primarily by a market economy; it is driven mostly by the turn away from faith and family, most acutely by the sexual revolution and the debasement of education and the popular culture.
West's confusion then leads him into fatal error. He thinks the solution is a nonviolent revolution, "... and by revolution what I mean is the democratic sharing of power, resources, wealth and respect."
We've been down that road too many times to count. You can talk all you like about "democratic" sharing of resources, wealth and respect," but it all begins with seizing power. The revolutionaries make their revolution and become a new ruling class that has no intention of relinquishing power. Disparities of resources and wealth probably become greater than ever, because the revolution was waged against wealth producers in the private sector. Downward levelling ends with the wealth as well as the power concentrated in the hands of the political class, and with an ever larger class of permanent dependents as clients of the political class. As for respect: that is earned by each individual. It has substance only in the eyes of the each individual himself, his family, friends, and peers. Government cannot confer respect. Government only generates empty slogans. Which is what the left does.
West is an avowed Marxist, in his youth, he admired the sincere black militancy of Malcolm X, the defiant rage of the Black Panther Party, and the livid black theology of James H. Cone. And this is the type of guy’s that are teaching in our universities, colleges, and high schools today.Does not bode well for the USA.

He is calling for a revolution in both the democrat party and against our government. He is laying it at the feet of the liberal Bernie supporters to step up and orchestrate the revolution.
the riots of the 1960’s were the death knell of every major city in this country. Afterwards, all we heard was we have to integrate the police departments, they are too white. All the cities that rioted last night all have black police chiefs now and majority have black mayors too and you see how much that helped. I live in Detroit...not the suburbs, but within the city limits. Ive seen it all as you can imagine..up close. I know and talk to blacks 30 to 40 years of age that have never been to a wedding ..ever. The schools are gone, and the ones that did attend school were mocked mercilessly for doing so. Drive around the city and all you see are groups making home made gangsta rap videos...the thug life is glorified...i know at least 20 people that pretend they are mentally ill, get on SSI, then go to shady doctors for pain pills and xanax which they sell every month. Its an automatic here. The first thing they lose, if they even bother to get one, is a drivers license. Also, sorry to say...but they absolutely just hate each other...you wouldnt believe the horrible racist names they call each other...im talking small children too. I would take some of the kids to macdonalds when they were hungry, the granny was buying 70 dollars worth the lottery tickets a day and could care less...and i would literally yell at them to stop calling each other those names. You see huge fist fights in parking lots,,,cars constantly running red lights...horrible neighborhood car accidents...go into a gas staion and crack cocaine “samples” are shoved into your hands,,whether you want it or not. Its all just a bizarre existence. Just shake your head...all you can do.

In just over two hundred years we have come from a virgin wilderness to the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world's history, with a standard of living even for those in society-defined poverty that was undreamt of even fifty years ago. But yeah, to the learned professor it's a failed social experiment and a failed capitalist economy. What a fraud this hustler is.

I have pondered, over the years, if the USA would be better off by splitting the nation.
Give the oppressed, disenfranchised, and humiliated black population ANY two contiguous States of their choosing. Move out the sniveling white folk, with full compensation, to all other States.
The Catch? Any Black Folk that don't want to move to their new country will find that the USA no longer has affirmative action, hate crimes, or any form of non merit recognition.
A win-win scenario. Some fine tuning would be in order, but everyone will be happier, nicht wahr?
We have also done pretty well as a melting pot no matter what the race baiters and agitators of any color want to believe.

The Democrat leaders treat blacks as inferior. That’s why they claim to be the only ones that can help them. For generations, blacks have been told by the liberals that they don’t have the ability to care for themselves or make their own decisions. No wonder that all these riots are taking place in areas run by Democrats. In the smaller, red state communities, blacks are given the respect to make their own lives.
