I'm not eager to return to the office. I have no desire to see my co-workers. I've lost a lot of respect for most of them.
Who is responsible for this overblown, overwrought concern? Social media, general media, and social gullibility.
If they are scared to return to work replace them with people who are not scared. Youll probably end up with a better workforce.
I’m dealing with this at this very moment.
The gen Z’s, and younger millenials, especially women, want to “keep working from home” (at full pay, of course) until there’s a vaccine.
The boomers are done. “We are coming back unless you lock us out.” Is the general sentiment.
The only thing that I know, is that I need to buy more insurance.
These losers who don’t want to return to work because they’re chicken sh*ts should be fired! Americans who’ve lost their jobs and businesses can replace them!
This bug has brought out the worst in some Americans!
It's going to be difficult for a lot of people to deal with the Sheep as well as the Incompetents (although those groups may overlap) when returning to work. Working remotely exposed a lot of incompetence.
I can't imagine what unrealistic expectations are going to come from the amateurs and what inane protocols they're going to put in place. This Blue State lockdown plague promoted the opinions of every idiot they could find. Good luck taking that power away from them.
What future illnesses are going to be overhyped as well? The alarm bell is going to sound continuously.
I already hear some of the nonsense like having people work from home on alternating days and no face-to-face meetings but why bother coming to the office if it's only 25% staffed and all the meetings are via the web?
In companies with unionized clerical staff and a high ratio of mothers it's going to be Joe Whiteguy who has to go into the office all the time because the Sheep won't.
The Carens own the company now.
BS
tHE real REASON is that UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS pay MORE STAYING HOME.
Most of the people I know of in my industry just file weekly forms with that simple reason. $640 a week doing nothing but stay home INSTEAD of facing your asshole office manager. Let’s cut the bullsh*t.
Imagine these people on D-Day.
In Virginia, nearly 40% of the infected are Hispanic. And it was just announced at work today, our Hispanic cleaning lady tested positive for the virus ... Ill leave it to others to connect the dots
What a bunch of whiny wusses
The “shutdown” has been pretty seamless for my group of about 15 global programmers. We each already worked remotely 2-3 days per week, and because it’s a global team we’ve always had very early morning/late evening video meetings due to the time differences. So, basically, we just switched from 2-3 days working remotely to 5 days and the productivity has remained high. It depends on the industry and type of work, of course.
In my case, the “co-workers” I see in my local office are not often those that I’m collaborating with and working closely with on projects. So I really don’t have any need to go back into the office, but I do find myself working MORE hours now because there is no longer that clear delineation of going to work, coming back home. I have no fear of going back to the office, although I’m not going to sit there all day with a mask on, that’s for sure.
God doesn’t guarantee safety, He doesn’t guarantee one more day
how the phuck is government going to?
idiot snowflakes
I see the potential for this causing lots of litigation and grief for employers not to mention the real possibility for mega lawsuits if an employee becomes infected after returning to work.
Leftist government slugs have not missed a paycheck.
This fear is exactly what they intended. Stay at home and vote, stay at home and work(maybe) stay at home and we will pay you, stay at home and you can help us kill the economy and reset the system
“...Ive spoken to a number of employers who say that employees remain very worried about how safe it will be to return to work. “
Women.
“I’m not eager to return to the office. I have no desire to see my co-workers. I’ve lost a lot of respect for most of them.”
Ha, I’m IN the office, and have no desire to see my co-workers return. As I am “essential”, I am unimportant, and all the important people are “working” from home.
Test everyone returning; furlough those who test positive and are in a communicable state.
take away their bonus welfare checks and they will see the world in a more realistic fashion
