Apple Update 13.5 Is Activating Contact Tracing In Some Countries
Tech Radar ^ | 05/19/20 | Matt Swider, Gareth Beavis

"The iOS 13.5 update also launches Apple's framework for contact tracing apps. No, the apps aren't here yet, but when governments and public health authorities do launch them, you'll be notified – anonymously – when you come into contact with someone who tests positive for Covid-19. Apple's API is the first step to rolling out these apps"

Expect the same with anyone with a Google operating Smart phone (Android, Samsung, etc) very soon.

Seriously thinking about getting a cheap burner and buy minutes. Pay w cash. No cell contract.

Keep the burner in your car and only use for emergencies.

Oh and leaving my phone at home in my blocket pocket. That basically blocks my Smart Phone completely. I even have one for the iPad.

Voluntary or mandatory?

So the New World Order, with the help of their corporate partners, is now going to start tracking not just where we go and when we go there, but every person's entire medical history is now going to go in the Cloud, where it will be only a matter of time until nefarious hackers and hostile governments get full access to all of it.

It looks like everything is happening the way it was said it would happen, only instead of the Mark of the Beast, we're all being told we have to put a mask around our mouth.

I knew something was up and actually suspected built-in contact tracing when the iPhones began harassing 5-10 times per day to install the newest IoS update. It has never done that before. Maybe once or twice per day. They REALLY wanted this one bad.

What is worse, I accidentally installed mine. I meant to hit “Remind me Later” and accidently missed it. It installed right away with no further confirmation dialogue. There was none of the typical “Are you sure” bullcrap, and it didn’t require me to plug into a power source like it usually does. I’m serious, they really f’n wanted this one.

Maybe a VOIP on home made laptop, set up a plane old telephone line, for emergencies and power outages.

By the way if you have a Wifi with Dual Band (2.4 ghzand 5 ghz), then you have 5g in your house. I know there is a debate. Here is the good news. You can get a Wifi Router Guard. I picked one up on Amazon. It was noticeable when I put the Router in the guard. My signal is still good too.

Just do not get within 4 ft of your dual band Wireless Router if it has 5g.

I still think you need the App for it to work. Do not use the App.

I always disable auto updates on the iPhone. The current update breaks some stuff I regularly use so I haven’t installed it. I never use Siri or any other spyware. Contact tracing is a no go. I just won’t update it.

I remember Apple got busted for secretly keeping a log of people’s locations, when was that... a decade ago? I mean this is ancient history. It would keep the log locked deep and it took the geek hacks quite a while to discover it. It worked even if your location services were all supposedly disabled.

Google is late to that game.

Oh I know, I know. It’s all just to ‘monetize’ for contextual ad suggestions though. ;)

Just a few thoughts on this. You can disable contact tracing in settings.

Go to Settings > Privacy > Health > COVID-19 Exposure Notification > Toggle [OFF]

You won’t see it there yet, but that is where you turn it off.

Second, people will have to download the app, and voluntarily report your exposure to Wu-flu. That won’t happen with you, though, right? BTW, the last thing you are thinking of when you are sick is reporting status in an app.

Finally, if your health care provider reports into a database with your status, you just won a million dollars, because they just broke HIPPA laws.

This would’ve been especially true in my case as I was the 1%. No one else I know or came into contact with got ill. None of those people know anyone else who got it. They would have to assume it was me they were talking about, and I would sue the healthcare provider, my doctor, the hospital, and the test site.

Carry on, and toggle off.

There is no compelling reason to update - turn off App Store, Apple Store Notifications, and Auto update.

Retired my AppleWatch and if my iPhone leaves the house it’s powered off in a faraday bag. That started as soon a few weeks ago when “contact tracing” first started floating around.

Burner is a possibility, but I’ve got VHF/UHF rig in the car and a handheld for the motorcycle or on foot, can always make comms without the cell.

It’s not new...We’ve been allowing this or contributing to this for 20 yrs

If instead of the government (who is bought &paid for by private companies), telling you to obey & comply, it is private
companies doing so by threatening your access to goods and
services they have monopolized, then it is ok. Bc they’re private right?

Mega corporations & gvmt are one
