I get why i run into so much conflict here with the conformists and fearpers, etc. It all clicked into place tonight just browsing articles from across the web.
God gave me the insight, I thank Him for opening my eyes.
......
God gave me the insight, I thank Him for opening my eyes.
I have always asked Him to give me a clear mind, to see things for what they really are, I want to know truth no matter how unpleasant. I believe sonce i've asked Him that He has done so for me.
I clicked on an article posted here about Jesus and His ascension, what does it mean. In the article they talk about Him being on the right hand of God, and why the right hand? Most people its the dominant hand. Most people are right-handed.
That's where He helped things click together.
I am left-handed.
all my life that has put me at odds with most people. Had to have a different baseball glove. different golf clubs. Different scissors. In many cases there is no left handed version of things available. I drive stick shift cars, but for me, I thought it was a bwtter deal because my dominant hand is on the wheel, I still would rather have my primary hand guiding the vehicle. certain cooking utensils I can only get right handed.
I also am a contrarian.
From my own family upbringing and experiences, I am introverted by nature and require significant time alone every day for my thoughts and work.
All this ties in together.
Back to the handedness. Roughly one of nine people are left handed, more men than women. Left handed me have a different brain structure than right handed men (no similar difference in women exist). So I think not exactly the same way. That is a likely factor in how I am compared to the rest.
One out of none people. That ratio is very close to one out of ten, Dividing into 100, it's 11.11 versus 10.00. Small difference.
It made me think about the 10th man theory.
I am a natural 10th man.
They are not very well liked or appreciated. even by those supposedly on the same side. But they are important.
Why? Because otherwise you get groupthink decisions. You get circlejerks.
You get OUR CURRENT LIBTARD BIG MEDIA. These people are almost 100% democrat, they all think the same, all their friends think like rhwy do, they don't know anyone who thinks different rhan rhem, and they are completely blindsided when things don't go as they predict.
You get libtard groupthink. You get Fearpers. You get people telling you you have to vote R because he's the candidate and forget he/she's a RINO that won't help us at all, and you can't criticize them because of the R.
I am the 10th man.
Thank you Lord for helping me learn more about myself.
Ne the 10th man...
Sucks to be you, left hander, lol. Just kidding. :}
It can sometimes be difficult to know whether the voice is God's or our own ego's.
Because your lesson tells you that you are very special, necessary, and that others are morons and you are not ... and there but or the grace of you go they ...
... you should be very suspicious this is your ego masquerading as God.
I can't know.
I just don't read a lot of humility in that message. I read a lot of 'I'm special, and others are dumb, ordinary'.
Doesn't sound like God.
But what do I know? I'm only right handed.
I don't think this lesson will hurt you. But I do think there is a deeper lesson in why you have come into conflict with others. There is nothing wrong with conflict. But if you think you get into conflict because others are fearpers and morons ... well ... that's pretty typically ego talk.
I so get the Rino thing. Hell, I’ll just vote for Ann Coulter from now on, send a message, lol. Rob Portman, embrace the suck.
You read a lot in that isn’t there, that wasn’t said. You are projecting many of your own hurt feelings, is what I see.
Interpret it any way you want, I don’t care. I didn’t post it to build me up at anyone’s expense. Pointing out differences isn’t saying who’s special or others aren’t.
the very fact you use terms like morons when I never said that, that’s where your own filters affect your thought process. It alsocshows you don’t necessarily understand the 10th man concept, the nine may have good reasons for all coming to same conclusion.
If you feel offended or hurt you need to ask yourself why you feel that way. and why you read it that way. This isn’t abput anyone else, i shared an insight about myself at the expense of no one else. unless you self identify as a Fearper or a RINO, or part of rhe libtard media.
I can write with both hands at the same time but the left hand “automatically” writes the words as a mirror image of the right hand.
Used by itself, my left hand is nearly worthless for writing.
So what am I?
:D
Weird. ;-)
Tinyowl, you’re a WISE owl!
Thank you Captain Obvious!
:D
I agree. Calling those who disagree with you names is not typically a sign of enlightenment.
Something to do with snakes maybe, lol. Good to see you post, babe.
sounds cool whatever it is :)
meh
Self awareness is not your strong suit
Only cautioning you.
In a conversation between you and yourself ... the 'you' needs a ... 3rd man.
It may be a perfectly valid insight. It might also be groupthink ... between you, and you. When those two get together, they are very political. They are bias and wired to believe they are special and better.
How do I know?
I also have an I and a me.
I don't believe anything I say to me, good or bad.
I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm saying in a conversation between you and yourself, you will tell yourself a story that is based on a true story but is guaranteed to contain falsehoods biased in your favor. It's tied to original sin, but is not exactly the same thing.
A good exercise would be to validate your observation with other 10th men in your life.
Maybe you often play the role of 10th man. But don't be a fool and think that qualifies you to play it with yourself.
Also don't take what I say as a put down. You can take or leave it. I don't offer it as the truth, only as a way to look at it.
Left behind!
What a special boy.
Maybe you’re not so “special:”LOL!
Have you ever taken a Myers-Brigs personality test? The phrase above and other things in your article suggests that you have a strong Analytical personality.
The Analytical personality loves to glean the data for inferences and insights most others miss. This requires significant time to process the data, often over a cup of coffee or while listening to some favorite music. I should know - I am what repeated group Myers Briggs tests calls an Analytical-Analytical Personality.
I find that groups of people are interesting, but draining. The Friendlies or Amiables, which we get along with so well are also introverts but get energy from being with people.
The ones we have so much trouble with are the Drivers that we often have to work with and convince. They are fact based as we are but are Extroverts that gain energy when around people. They make good bosses because they get things done and keep things going (hopefully). We pray that we have a good boss that at least listens to us and our analysis.
And then there are the Expressives. These are the relationship based, get energy from people Extroverts. These are the artists and musicians that are so creative that love to be at and give parties.
These are the basic four groups of people and these are broken down into 16 subgroups with identifiable characteristics. Knowing the type of people we are dealing with can be very helpful
The 16 Subtypes: https://www.verywellmind.com/the-myers-briggs-type-indicator-2795583
This can be very useful data. But PS: for the Strong Analytical types anyone that gets between us and data- watch out. We revert to Drivers often and use shear logic to tell them where they can go stuff it.
Hope this might help.
