It shows a man who appears to be Arbery entering and walking around a house being built. The men who killed Arbery told police they were concerned about break-ins.
You need to look more closely at the video. The decedent was running right at the neighbor with the shotgun, on the drivers side, while he was still 20+ feet behind the truck. Then suddenly he decided to pivot to his right, in behind the pickup, then ran up the passenger side of the truck, and when he reached the front of the truck, quickly pivoted left and ran right at the neighbor with the gun at which point he physically attacked the neighbor.
It was very clear, the decedent knew damn well these neighbors wanted to stop him, talk to him, and or detain him when he decided to go on the attack. This was subsequent to the decedent not jogging, but going inside a private residence under construction.
Guy gets out of the truck literally HOLDING the shotgun. With the intent to talk to him. Sounds like “confronting him with a shotgun” to me.
So lets understand this. They yelled “stop”, and he kept running. So they chased him down. And we’re to believe that they would have just let him keep running past the truck without taking additional measures? BS. They had come this far, and they weren’t letting him get away.
I’ll say it again. These two witnessed NO crime, just saw a guy running down the road who they SUSPECTED of committing a crime (even though they didn’t even know if a crime had taken place), and decided to arm themselves and chase him down.
Two idiots who will now reap the consequences of their bad judgement.
Come on now. According to the Communist media and celebrities, we’re supposed to believe these neighbors wanted to kill a black guy and they were just waiting for one to jog by so they could kill him because he had black skin. Gak~
I noticed that too.
They could have easily shot him before he ever got to the pickup. No? Why didn't they? Why would an armed neighbor wait until he was physically attacked before ever pulling the trigger, when he could have easily shot him prior to that?
Btw, as the decedent was fighting with and trying to disarm the neighbor, he was pulling the shotgun back and forth and his actions could have physically caused the neighbor to inadvertently pull the trigger at least once, possibly more.
You must be deliberately obtuse to believe the nonsense you are spewing.
The media got it wrong about Trayon, ThenGentle Giant, Duke LA Crosse, Covington and you take their word for this?
That truly is a special kind of stupid.
The house has surveillance footage. He was busted IN there ON CAMERA at least twice. Once at night.
But you go ahead with your defense of thuggery
The probability of a white person being murdered by blacks is much higher than for blacks murdered by whites.
Well, I'd agree their lives are pretty much ruined either way, but I'd say the chance for convictions is pretty small.
Lynching these two guys won't bring back the black guys who have been lynched in the past.
But still a possibility. How would Arbrey know the difference?
Here’s the video

You hear some shout at the 0:23 mark, then shots as he’s wrestling for the shotgun. He had lots of room to the right where he could have dodged, but he chose to attack the man and try to wrestle the shotgun away.
A few days before this video surfaced there was another video of an incident. It’s from this thread:

My post is Post # 25.
As you can see, I call them as I see them.
Aubery's motives and intent are necessarily at issue because the defendants will claim self-defense. As provocative and subject to opprobrium as their conduct was, it was Aubery who moved the confrontation to physical force by attacking the man holding the shotgun. Aubery's motive and intent in doing so are therefore implicated.
He wasn't outrunning a shot gun blast. He charged McMichaels (a good 60') and repeatedly attempted to wrestle the shotgun from him even after multiple shots. The video is perfectly clear on that sequence.
This isn't self-defense by either party.
They all chose - poorly.
Right... he dindo nuthin
we see where you’re coming from ok?
He was not anywhere he should have been, when confronted he attacked the people with the gun... do you think he was acting wisely?
His actions caused his death- not theirs.
We don’t see what happened in front of the truck and the only witness is the murderer. Problem 1
We have no idea if Arvery attacked first and it doesn’t matter since McMichaels Assaulted Arbery first.
We also need to sort out if McMichaels actions were lawful, you can’t claim self defense when your actions leading to self defense were illegal. Like a mugger who mugs you and shoots you because you tried to defend yourself, the mugger can NOT claim self defense since he was the aggressor and the initiator in the confrontation.
What is working against McMichaels
They were the both the initiator and the aggressors
They both were armed expecting to come up to an arm “criminal”, citizen arrest isn’t for citizens to pursue “armed and dangerous criminals”
Neither had license to pursue Arbery and conduct a Citizen’s arrest according to Georgia Law
They blocked Arbery’s movement with two trucks on public street
McMichaels gets out of truck with shot gun in hand/conflict ensue in front of truck that is blocked by the truck in video, shot fired/aggravated assault committed by McMichael, felony in Georgia
McMichaels fire other shots and evenutally murders his victim in cold blood.
Arbery had the right to defend himself against an armed mad man that was following/hunting him down with a shot gun
McMichaels are in jail right now with aggravated assault charges and murder charges
Those are the facts
It was not 60’ maybe 10-15 just the distance/video lense cropping, it wasn’t a wide angle lense. If you are saying 60’ then you are saying that his truck was like 1 foot wide to put it in perspective
He was close range and def. in range of a shot gun blast. What was he suppose to do, out run a hot head with a shot gun? he would have to run about 100 feet away from the shooter, and not expect the shooter to shoot him because why else would the shooter have a shot gun in his hands?
Remember the shooter did fire three shots at Arbery.
Arbery was the only one licensed to have self defense, he did not create the situation, he did not request that McMichaels hunt him down, he was on a public street, that everyone, including you or me can travel, run, jog, walk down. He was not the aggressor/initiator of the confrontation, McMichals have not witnessed any crimes that Arbery assumed he committed.
Was there a “for sale” sign on the house in question? That could raise reasonable doubt as to his motivation for entering.
Two men with guns, one fired, one has his pistol extended in a firing position tracking the decedent. I assume he didn’t fire for fear of hitting his son.
I have everything straight. 2 armed men get out of a truck and confront an unarmed black man. YOU assume he attacked the man holding the shotgun unprovoked. Actually, you have no idea if anything was said, or nothing was said.
That pickup truck was not parked there all day. The story presented by the men was that they got in their vehicles and tracked him down. How they did that without moving their vehicle is a mystery of the universe. I’m going with “They rove it there.”
I’m through arguing. That kid could have been the biggest burglar in Georgia, what those guys did was illegal and they should go to jail for it. Since you obviously think it is OK to track down black people and shoot them if they try to defend themselves, do me a favor and never come to Alabama.
So much for the old saw "Flee a blade, attack a firearm".
