The laughable collective known as the House Judiciary democrats have sent a letter to Michael Horowitz, the DOJ Inspector General, demanding an investigation into Attorney General William Barr’s respect for the law and protection of the falsely accused.

Then last night an audio was “leaked” to Michael Isikoff. You might remember Isikoff- he is the go to leak reporter when something helpful to democrats is needed. Isikoff was the the guy they went to when the obama IC needed circular reporting to help frame Carter Page:
“The Carter Page FISA application also cited extensively a September 23, 2016 Yahoo News article by Michael Isikoff, which focuses on Page’s July 2016 trip to Moscow,” the memo states. “This article does not corroborate the Steele dossier because it is derived from information leaked by Steele himself to Yahoo News.”The audio “leaked” to Isikoff was of Barack Obama speaking to something called the “Obama Alumni Association” about his being “disturbed” by AG Barr’s actions:
“The news over the last 24 hours I think has been somewhat downplayed — about the Justice Department dropping charges against Michael Flynn,” Obama said.“…misstating that Flynn was charged with perjury.”“And the fact that there is there is no precedent that anybody can find for somebody who has been charged with perjury just getting off scot-free. That’s the kind of stuff where you begin to get worried that basic — not just institutional norms — but our basic understanding of rule of law is at risk. And when you start moving in those directions, it can accelerate pretty quickly as we’ve seen in other places,” he added, misstating that Flynn was charged with perjury. Flynn was charged with false statements to the FBI about his conversations with a Russian envoy.

The above are indications that obama and democrats are in a state of panic. We now know that obama was well aware of the wiretaps on Michael Flynn:

For a long time the execrable Schiff insisted there some magical evidence of collusion “in plain sight” while he did his best to bury the transcripts of the testimony which would vindicate Trump. None of that evidence ever appeared. You have to wonder why the left wing media never asked him about.

In testimony that damned Clapper had to admit what we’ve been saying here from day one- that it wasn’t so much that Putin wanted Trump to win as he wanted Clinton to lose. Putin hated her for her interference in the 2011 Russian elections.

The question has been asked; why did the FBI want to keep the Flynn case open, (which was to be closed for lack of any evidence of his being a national security risk)?
The answer most have come up with is that Flynn knew where the bodies were buried, and that may be true, but there is another reason for wanting to get rid of Flynn.
In the motion to dismiss filed by the DOJ, there is a transcript of testimony by Comey to the House. In that testimony Comey states that after Obama placed sanctions on the Russians in December the whole intelligence community were looking for reactions from Russia and to see how they would retaliate against the US, and then to see what retaliation to their retaliation we would place on them.
My theory is that Obama was trying to get into a tit for tat with Russia that would leave PDJT with another fire to try to put out. Flynn, by discussing the sanctions with the Russian Ambassador poured cold water on this scheme.
The testimony detailed how the IC and FBI were searching for the reason that there was no retaliation and that is when they came across the Flynn/Ambassador phone call, and that is when they unmasked Flynn.
Obviously Obama would have been immediately briefed on this which explains why he brought it up in the meeting with Yates and Comey on 5 January, 2017.
