Who framed Michael Flynn? All of the pieces are in place and they lead right into the obama White House

Yesterday was a great day. Flynn has been freed. The DOJ has dropped the Flynn prosecution.

The Justice Department on Thursday moved to drop its case against former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, in a stunning development that comes after internal memos were released raising serious questions about the nature of the investigation that led to Flynn’s late 2017 guilty plea of lying to the FBI.

The announcement came in a court filing "after a considered review of all the facts and circumstances of this case, including newly discovered and disclosed information," as the department put it. DOJ officials said they concluded that Flynn's interview by the FBI was "untethered to, and unjustified by, the FBI's counterintelligence investigation into Mr. Flynn" and that the interview was "conducted without any legitimate investigative basis."

Flynn was set up. Two years ago I said Flynn was caught in a perjury trap.

Trust us, the FBI said to Flynn. You don't need a lawyer.

You might also remember that obama fired Michael Flynn. Here's why-  almost five years ago I wrote this:

Obama is cooking the intelligence about ISIS- and why

Obama had been warned three times about ISIS, including a warning from Lt. Gen Michael Flynn:

On Feb. 11, 2014, the Pentagon’s top intelligence official, Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, warned the group would likely attempt to take over even more territory.

“ISIL probably will attempt to take territory in Iraq and Syria to exhibit its strength in 2014, as demonstrated recently in Ramadi and Fallujah, and the group’s ability to concurrently maintain multiple safe havens in Syria,” Flynn told the Senate Armed Services Committee.

Michael Flynn was the head of the Defense Intelligence Agency from 2012-2014, and was appointed by Obama. Flynn has been very critical of Obama’s disastrous Middle East policies. Flynn asserts that arming and funding ISIS was a “willful decision”:

And I wrote this
PS: Gen. Flynn has called for Hillary Clinton to be stripped of her security clearance. It’s likely only a matter of time before Flynn is visited by the IRS or is suddenly embroiled in some curious affair.
Now superimpose that on obama warning Trump about Flynn

"Stay away from Michael Flynn"

Trump was going to hire Flynn, so the FBI set a perjury trap for Flynn.

It's not "the Obama White House." It's Barack Obama personally.

Can the judge continue to go after Flynn even after the DOJ wants to drop the case?

And then there is the enormous power of “surveillance” to gather info on anybody they want to get. FISA is just the tip of that iceberg.

As has been said before, if they will do this to a president imagine what they can do to you.

Congress is afraid to do anything to control this abuse because, well, they too are fearful this power will be used against them.

It would also open up the can of worms as to how a British subject/Kenyan/Indonesian could be sworn in as President in direct violation of the Constitution.

ALL of our elected and appointed (except President Trump) cooperated in violating the Constitution.

That’s why this all gets buried.

The same judge who called Flynn a traitor in open court and then later apologized!

Yes!

The powers given to government, by government, are very dangerous to democracy, the republic, our basic freedoms.

It started in a bad way with the creation of FISA courts. Literally secret courts where you cannot see the evidence against you, have no right to defend yourself etc. FLAT OUT UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

Then came the beginning of the WWW in the late 80s and early 90s with George H Bush as President. As former director of the CIA and now President, the government pushed to interpret anything that goes over the WWW as being public, no differently than if you were to scream at a ballgame you basically have no privacy with anything digital that is networked (period).

Then came 9-11 and the Patriot ACT. Now you finally had the impetus for these huge intel agencies to point their collection efforts inward. These Cold War relics were without a job after 1989 and saw cuts. Now they saw huge increases in budgets, personnel, expansion in powers and all of that was looking inward, not outward.

And here we are-

One thing that confuses me about this is that I did not know the DOJ could arbitrarily drop charges on somebody who has plead guilty and been convicted. I would think the court would have to do that.

Just go back to the case of the BLACK PANTHERS patrolling the POLLING STATION and ERIC HOLDER dismissing the case after the Panthers pleaded guilty.

Taking it one step further the Obama administration weaponized the intel agencies to an unimaginable degree. It was bordering on police state stuff. All to monitor political adversaries and who knows what else.

We have still not learned the story behind the massive increase in FISA unmaskings. We need to get to the bottom of that abuse.

In the formal legal world, a court case that is dismissed with prejudice means that it is dismissed permanently. A case dismissed with prejudice is over and done with, once and for all, and can't be brought back to court.

A case dismissed without prejudice means the opposite. It's not dismissed forever. The person whose case it is can try again.

IMHO- had Nixon had that ability he would have used it too. Had Clinton had that ability, he would have used it also...

The problem is a lot akin to communism which actually is a noble idea, equality, fairness, bla bla bla. This Utopian idea always fails because man is a vile creature. We are lazy, lie, cheat, steal, are full or lust, wrath, envy, gluttony and pride...

Today we have given government these vast powers, and we are told by the folks that have these powers, “trust us.” They keep violating this trust, over and over... Just like a leftist socialist still clings to his Utopian socialist ideas and they ignore the nature of man which will NEVER allow this to work large scale and long term, so do american conservatives cling to their police state. Despite numerous/repeated abuses of powers they “feel” like it’s a good idea to give other people these powers even though the FBI, NSA, CIA and no one else trusts their own folks (why you have continual re-investigations, 5 year polygraphs, random drug testing, continual credit reporting, and and and). Just so you see the irony, these intel agencies do not even trust their own people, but they turn around and tell the American public to trust them. These intel agencies tell folks how they are all professional and won’t abuse these powers, but there is no real oversight, no real insight (it’s all secret of course), abuses keep happening, and the senior leaders are all political appointees.

This is a systemic problem that started when government got these powers and will only go away when these powers go away. As long as government has these powers, they will abuse them, albeit at times the public may just not know what is going on. The temptation is there and the humans ability to rationalize self serving behaviors is unlimited.
