Have you considered Divine protection is possible?

How about a.) b.) and c.)

I don’t see them as mutually exclusive.

Stay well, FRiend.

I've been wondering about the basic reproduction rate (R0). I don't seem to hear much about it anymore. They used to say this stuff was really easy to transmit and that was a huge problem. I can't tell if that is still considered true.

My doctor has had a number of COVID-19 patients and he tested negative on the Quest antibody test. Everyone in his family also tested negative.

There’s tremendous individually variability in regards to being susceptible to Covid-19 or any other virus.

Maybe your household is among the majority, who experience no symptoms when they get it.

Was your test a nasal swab to see if you have an active infection, or a blood test, to see if you had the disease in the past?

Did you or your daughter have any symptoms at all?
Exhaustion, headaches, body aches, low grade fevers?

Being around it is not enough. It has to get inside of you. So maybe you wash your hands often and don’t touch your face. The only other way to get it is to have someone spit, cough, or sneeze near you so you take in a large load of virus.

Quest Diagnostics should be investigated for price gouging.

“Some of us will remember how President Trump endured a lot of criticism for saying that he had a “hunch” that the WHO’s estimate was too high and that the fatality rate of the coronavirus might actually be below 1 percent. “Well, I think the 3.4 percent is really a false number. Now, and this is just my hunch, and — but based on a lot of conversations with a lot of people that do this. Because a lot of people will have this and it’s very mild. They’ll get better very rapidly. They don’t even see a doctor. They don’t even call a doctor,” Trump said. “I think that that number is very high. I think the number, personally, I would say the number is way under 1 percent.”

It is probably easier to win the Califonia Lottery these days:

Versus getting a no charge, fast and reliable/good test to see if you have antibodies from a Corona Virus infection late last year, early this year or whenever.

If you are over age 60 and healthy.

Last but not least, after you are tested, you get a printout showing that you have CV antibodies or not.

Does anyone have any thoughts to why this is happening?

Is it happening in the rest of our 57 states?

personal hygiene? Maybe you did get exposed but washed it off in time? Didn’t put hands in mouth, nose, eyes?

God’s plan.

Just take care of yourself and your family and be thankful :)

East or west coast? Heard the east coast. Variety is much more potent. You may also have high levels of Vitamin D in your body. Mine is low but doctor has me on script of 50,000 iu per week..

Today’s news, WaPoo among other sources:

The Food and Drug Administration, under fire for allowing more than 100 commercial coronavirus antibody tests on the market without review, moved Monday to assert oversight, saying the tests will have to pass agency muster, including meeting standards for quality and accuracy.

No controlling legal authority, no verification that any test actually, oh, I dunno, works!

For all the handwringing only less than 1% of the population of the US has if.

If you haven’t breathed in the virus or applied it from touching a contaminated surface then you don’t have it.

You could also have it (incubation time is 14 days) so your body may not have developed the antibodies yet because you’re not yet affected.

Thanks for posting.

You took the antibody test. What about a test for the virus itself?

Do you have any underlying conditions, diabetes, hypertension, etc?

I don’t think it is nearly as contagious as they said, except for older folks.

We don’t know the percentage of false positives or false negatives for any of these tests.

Are you taking any natural supplements?

You claim to know people who had it for certain.

Have they been tested by the same test?

If they’re negative then you’d have reason to believe the test is wrong.

Depending on how quickly and easily your body knocks something out antibodies are not guaranteed. If your white blood cells just knock the crap out of it before it gets any traction, you get no additional immunity. Cause you don’t need it. This is the challenge of vaccines, how to get enough of it into you to make antibodies without actually making you sick.

1. the accuracy of your specific antibody test is paramount. if it was finger prick it’s likely not very accurate.

see the new test roche has just released on their cobas machine. it’s specificity is claimed to be 99.8% and sensitivity at 100%. those are the kind of numbers you need to be confident in any test. looks good, well see how well the verification goes. but, find a lab that has that test or one with like accuracy.

2. you could have not had time to build up antibodies after exposure. roche says the test should be done 14 days post pcr confirmation test to see the antibodies.

3. get a pcr from a reference lab if you can to see if you are currently infected.

4. i believe covid19 is far less infective than claimed by the the experts. my estimated R0 came up with around 1.1- 1.2. my **opinion** is based on calcs i did based on the infection rates early on in military and cruise ships. so unless you were surrounded by 10-12 infected people, touching everything they touched, chances are you weren’t positive because you weren’t infected.

5. if you’re young and strong with no immuno-comp, you may have been exposed but your body just destroyed the infection. the virus is fragile and easily killed by your bodies own mechanisms and even sunlight destroys it quickly.

6. all these typhoid mary, dying at home, airisol-ization, projectile olympic event sneezing, surface survival for days, etc, stories are just myths, imo. the fear factor is being promoted, but the death counts are imo way over counted, especially in places like urban italy and nyc.

7. lastly maybe you got an inaccurate test and you are positive. so get a confirmatory test. hopefully an accurate one.

oh well, hope that helps you. i wouldn’t waste my time asking for trouble. i personally know no one who’s got it, either. i was actually sick with something in jan, but who knows.
