A feminist politician in Australia had me arrested by the police and dragged through psychological hell in a family violence court after I lobbied her for memorial tree plantings.
I had wanted to celebrate the human rights secured in World War Two and was stripped of my own rights.
After 28 years (at that time) of being a midwife I was completely unprepared for what was done.
So it was profoundly traumatic for me and left me with a very bad case of PTSD.
The best cure to this attack on my freedom of speech has been to practise freedom of speech in places like Free Republic and my own blog.
What common ground do Freepers see between feminism and leftist ideology?
Has feminism been misandrist from the beginning or is it just the Third Wave?
How many western men and women now look outside western culture for a wife or husband and what are some of their stories?
It’s damaging respect for men too, because women feel they can’t trust them. We need to get back to Judeo-Christian morality, where a man was supposed to be trustworthy and concerned about his wife and she was supposed to be trustworthy and concerned about him. Now it’s every man (or woman) for him or herself.
Did people always act properly? Of course not,. Because fallen human nature intervenes. But if we don’t have the ideal, there’s no way anybody can even attempt it.
I think over time, since the suffragette movement, it has become misandrist, for sure. They force an opinion of “(This) comes before all things” and ostracize women who don’t toe the line, not to mention ruin their businesses or job prospects. It happens.
There’s a frightening amount of groupthink on top of snitching that happens to those who were once feminists and no longer see the allure in the movement or who don’t agree with every little thing. I was never a feminist, nor will I be.
And men who claim they are feminists deserve a sock in the fleshy patch where their testes once were.
I don’t get it - so what’s the story??

There are web sites for American men who are seeking women from overseas. I don’t know how many successful matches come from those. But there are dating or matchmaking sites where you can meet people in your own hometown. Why are some seeking wives from overseas is the question, when there are theoretically plenty of females available where you live.
I dealt with several lesbian “feminists” in the professional work environment. Odd they were feminists as the dressed like men. They seemed to look for opportunities to damage men’s careers. Given PC they had the power to get a letter put in your file, often with an “anonymous” complaint. One overheard a comment I made, took it out of context and almost got me fired. The standard is, if an uninvolved third party thinks it’s offensive, then, by definition, it is.
I think the sex war (feminism) has been enacted to break down Western society. Marxists want to replace western culture with one that will accept the oppression of communism/fascism. The sex war is undoing the basic building block of Western culture - the family.
This brings to mind the 1906 meat cleaver attack on the Rokeby Venus painting by an enraged suffragette.

There were also theoretically plenty of males where I lived. But men who didn't see themselves as victims of women/feminism and marriage as some kind of plot to steal men's paychecks? Those were rarer. So I married an Asian man who didn't see me as some kind of matriarchal oppressor but as an individual with strengths and flaws like everyone else. I don't think it's exactly the same for men but from my perspective my Asian husband has the same income and education level as an American man without the attitude, alcoholism, and anger issues many (not all) American men suffer from. Asian men are also less promiscuous and I didn't want to get an STD on my wedding night after saving myself for marriage. The fact that my husband has a 29" waist while 40% of American men are overweight and 35% are obese is just the cherry on top of the sundae.

And while Asian men have a reputation for being misogynists I can assure you my husband does unchain me from the kitchen sink on Election Day LOL. Which is more than can be said for a few males on here who would deny us our right to vote for President Trump again in November because some other women voted for the Dims.
Maybe American men are thinking along similar lines?

But it nearly destroyed the country, so they had to do a quick stop on it.

There’s definitely a lot of American women twisted by Marxist ideas and that is accomplished through the media and movies, etc. So many American men, are affected by this. Some have learned to hate themselves (liberal men), others see the unfairness and are angry about it and some just go along with the whims of popular culture that is infected with ultra-feminist hatred.
The whole point was to destroy American men through the emotional manipulation of American women. And it’s worked out quite well. When I hear of women complaining that women can’t find any good men, I have to laugh at the sad irony.

I guess those women are not looking hard enough. Worldwide I believe there are more good men than jerks. I have met plenty of Asian, European, and Latin American men who in no way suffered from the persecution complex and entitled attitude that plagues too many American men (exceptions apply of course).
