Maria Bartiromo has good sources. This sets her apart from Sean Hannity, Greg Jarrett and Sara Carter, the Tick-Tock brigade who have spent the last two years promising Hannitys listeners and viewers that indictments of the bad actors in the coup cabal were always just around the corner.
Bartiromo didnt promise that, but if you remember, she did tweet this on Sunday evening:
Maria Bartiromo ✔ @MariaBartiromo Maria Bartiromo: Gen. Flynn to be completely exonerated this week http://ow.ly/QhYV30qB5V5 @MorningsMaria @FoxBusiness

The case against General Flynn has not been dismissed, but so much new information has come to light since Monday that it is now blatantly obvious that he was, as his attorney Sidney Powell continues to state categorically, set up and framed by the corrupt cabal operating at the top of the DOJ and FBI in early 2017.
The latest tranche of information came yesterday in the form of previously un-released emails and hand-written notes that conclusively demonstrate that the FBIs goal in the initial interview of Flynn was to set him up:
Techno Fog @Techno_Fog · 13h Replying to @Techno_Fog How they planned to get Flynn removed:
1) Get Flynn to admit to breaking the Logan Act; or
2) Catch Flynn in a lie.
Their end goal was a referral to the DOJ - not to investigate Flynn's contacts with the Russians.

Techno Fog @Techno_Fog Email from Peter Strzok to McCabe.
They discussed the potential of the interview occurring over the phone with McCabe with an FBI agent to be posted to take notes.
Also - Lisa Page emails Strzok re: how to conduct the Flynn interview.
View image on TwitterView image on Twitter 5,525 5:46 PM - Apr 29, 2020 Twitter Ads info and privacy 3,701 people are talking about this In a series of tweets last night, former federal prosecutor Andy McCarthy points out that, even after their clear effort to entrap Flynn at that initial Jan. 27, 2017 interview, FBI agents Peter Strzok and Joe Pientka told then-Director James Comey and Dep. Director Andrew McCabe that they did not believe Flynn had lied to them, and apparently recorded that impression in their original 302 filing on the interview (which the FBI continues to claim was somehow lost). Comey has in fact stated this in public testimony.
McCarthy continues:
Seems worth reminding: for all the elaborate perjury trap planning, violation of protocol, and dissembling about 302 interview report, FBI did not think Flynn lied and thus never sought to charge him while Comey & McCabe in charge.
Charges were filed only months later by Team Mueller, under circumstances where there is good reason to believe they told him if he didnt plead guilty, his son would be charged with a felony.
Judge [Emmet Sullivan] should vacate the plea and put onus on DOJ and FBI to tell us whether theyd feel good about going forward with a public trial of this case, so everything that was done and said, and why, can be laid bare. I think hell would freeze over before that. But lets see.
[End]
As a reminder, and as the notes released yesterday confirm, the entire entrapment effort was based on a phone call that Flynn took with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the Trump Transition in December, 2016. During that call, Kislyak raised the issue of outgoing President Obamas recent imposition of new sanctions on Russia and expulsion of many of their diplomats (most of whom were no doubt spies) over allegations of Russian interference in the recent elections.
On the call which was surreptitiously and probably illegally recorded by the FBI under one of its ill-gotten FISA warrants Flynn advised Kislyak not to get into an escalating tit-for-tat with the Obama Administration. The notes released yesterday between Strzok and Pientka reveal their plan to not play the recording of the call for Flynn, but rather to try to entrap him in a lie. This is because they knew they did not really have a case that Flynn had violated the Logan Act, and so they hoped they could build a case that he had lied to federal investigators.
As Comey and others have stated on the public record Comey said it under oath to a congressional committee no one at the FBI believed at the time that Flynn had in fact lied to Strzok and Pientka. Which is why Mueller and his American Gestapo thugs ended up coercing a guilty plea out of Flynn by threatening to abuse his son.
This is what was taking place under the imprimatur of the American system of justice in 2016 and 2017. This is the kind of clear and repugnant abuse of power that William Barr was brought in as Attorney General to identify and remove from the system. This is the kind of despicable deception of the court and abuse of the public trust that Judge Sullivan has allowed to take place in his courtroom for years now, as General Flynn has been bankrupted and forced to sell his family home.
When is enough enough? When will someone in a position of authority finally, at long last put an end to it and let this man who served his country honorably for more than 30 years get his life back?
McCarthy lays out the obvious solution: Sullivan should allow Flynn to vacate the obviously-coerced plea, which would then allow Barr to respond by withdrawing the charges.
At that point, the punishing of the real bad actors in this case should begin in earnest.
That is all.
This is the kind of despicable deception of the court and abuse of the public trust that Judge Sullivan has allowed to take place in his courtroom for years now
That's a great line.
Stone's judge Amy Berman Jackson is even worse.
Congress implicitly endorses this sort of "justice." So does the "supervising" court system.
November 5, 2020. President Trump nominates General Flynn to be FBI Director. Who would be more motivated to clean out the ROT which is pervasive in the FBI.
FBI Director Flynn...Has a nice ring to it.
What do we have? A lot of talk an no action. Kabuki theater - Trump and Republican style!
Wake me up when the criminal elites are in prison.
If Flynn was innocent - - and the charges against him were very weak - - he should have gone to trial and told his son to be a man. He should have told his son, you too go to trial if you are innocent.
Instead, according to Flynn’s “declaration,” he committed perjury under circumstances which contradict Flynn’s public image.
If you committed perjury to save your son, everyone understands that. Many, probably most, would do the same thing. But if you commit perjury to protect your son, be a man, take your medicine, and move on. Do not whine afterwards, in effect saying “I no longer wish to protect my son.”
It is a hard thing to do, but if you are innocent and your son is innocent, tell him to be a man and to take his medicine. And if your son is guilty, then isn’t your plea just a despicable attempt to protect the guilty by committing perjury?
And the money thing? I would love to see a public accounting to verify the public statements. It would be especially interesting to see an accounting of money made by book sales, whether lawyer or client. But we will NEVER see a public accounting of the actual money situation, IMO, for obvious reasons. And that does not even include the inevitable book, still to be released in the future, which would make any one of us fabulously wealthy beyond our dreams.
Trump should bring him back to the White House.
And yet, the solution is so simple:

How they planned to get Flynn removed:
1) Get Flynn to admit to breaking the Logan Act; or
2) Catch Flynn in a lie.

Questions.
1. What’s the legal term when someone in authority abuses their power to frame an innocent person?
2. What are the legal consequences of such an action?
There is no way that the same Party that was behind this , and the entire coup attempt against President Trump , shoukd EVER bw allowed close to power in the country , ever again.I could not give a rip ehat millions of abysmally stupid and mentally retarded Democrat voters may want . To Hell with them and TO HELL with rhe Democrat agenda. Ban and outlaw the Democrat Party. Suspend the election until the coup details are fully exposed ,prosecuted and delt with . No quarter for the coup plotters. To include the ring-leader, Barack Obama himself . Justice !
I disagree. If we lived in a world where justice is done, then any innocent man would say, “I am innocent and I am willing to go to trial.”
But Flynn knows we live in a world where trials are a tool for screwing innocent men. There is no justice. You avoid the trial if at all possible because they will get you and your innocence is no defense at all. I don’t blame Flynn for agreeing to a deal. His lawyers were working for the other side. His own lawyers happily screwed him.
Not to defend Judge Sullivan, but practically speaking, how would he have known about the “set-up”? It is not practical in every case for a judge to order production of and to spend hours going through all the prosecution records to verify that everything was done in accordance with the law. Only then will the case proceed.
It is imperative that the only people in the FBI, DOJ, etc possess the highest integrity. But human nature being what it is, that is not always the case. And it becomes worse if this becomes a systemic corruption. After reading “Licensed to Lie”, it appears that the systemic corruption has been around for at least two decades, and I have no faith that it has been rooted out. It may be dormant for a moment.
What happened in the system to rectify the great injustice the after Senator Ted Stevens was unjustly prosecuted
This is why these federal criminals must be brought to justice, even if it starts with Judge Sullivan holding them in criminal contempt. I hope a Flynn brings suit against each and every one of them to recover his financial damages for malicious, criminal prosecution. A message has to be sent to the criminal vermin who are using our government to commit their crimes. It would also help to restore some faith the citizens need to have in our justice system if we are to continue to exist as a nation founded on the rule of law. With November just 6 months away, and nothing yet out of Barr, I remain hopeless on what I would like to see done, but I am not surprised by no accountability at the highest levels of our government, especially if one is a demonkrap.
Thats solid legal advice.
L
That sounds grand. Just one small problem. The FBI holds all the cards, and in the Flynn case they withheld the exculpatory evidence. The FBI also lied on its own FISA requests. How would a trial work when the FBI, the FISA Courts, and the judges have rigged the system? How do you win a game where one side has rigged the system?
What the heck does being innocent matter when youre dealing with Mueller, Comey, Weissman and the thug patrol. While Flynn is watching them lynch a sitting innocent president, he should be telling his son to have confidence in the justice system. Thats a ridiculous attitude to have when youre gambling with your sons freedom.
I’m sure the judge in the Flynn case will do the right thing now, just as the judge in the Roger Stone case has done. </sarcasm>
You can’t be serious.
When it becomes apparent the entire force of the US government is directed and determined to bury you at all cost regardless of innocence and even your own attorneys say this is the best you can do, all the while trying to avoid the gallows themselves, it is not understandable to say be done with it then?
And the very sad thing is it has happened and is happening to innocent people all over the nation every single day that have no Sydney Powell to save them.
“His lawyers were working for the other side. His own lawyers happily screwed him.”
Until one has been in a situation where one is offered prosecution which could result in prison or a plea deal, I would not know how many innocent people could live with high blood pressure, sleepless nights, no friends, etc waiting to go to trial to prove their innocence .... especially at the level Flynn was playing in DC.
If his lawyers did work for the other side, then they should lose their licenses. I am sure they were K-Street, inside DC lawyers and they have the stench of DC on them, because one has to have connections, to know how things are done, etc. It is plausible they explained what his options were, the “realities” of such a high profile case would do to him. That being said, they should refund their fees to him, as they apparently were blind or refused to accept the possibility of federal government set up based on what Flynn told them. In hindsight it is apparent he had the wrong attorneys now that his pit bull has laid bare the criminal activity of the federales.
Sullivan said what Flynn did was tantamount to treason. He apologized for the intemperate remark, but he made the remark.
The idea that anybody appearing in court, especially the government, is inherently truthful, is out of touch with reality. It’s clear from your remark that you know where the procedural and substantive bias falls, so I won’t talk about that.
Sullivan turned the Stevens prosecutors over to a separate tribunal. There was no penalty beyond tongue lashing. They were brought to justice, as far as the justice system is concerned.
See too the myriad of FBI and other government actors caught in crimes and “decline to prosecute.”
Most people are truly ignorant of how Machiavellian and obscene the justice systems are. Not just at the fed level, at all levels.
Rule of law truly is law of the jungle.
Have the judges rigged the system, or are they so out of their league (i.e. not street smart) with the criminal elements before them representing the federal government, they are part of the problem.
I would expect them to use their criminal contempt power to send a strong message ... not 24 or 48 hours in jail. I am talking beyond Susan McDougal contempt time (and she never waivered, probably b/c prison was preferable to death outside if she talked) ... 4 - 7 years for each of the federal vermin. Only then will this crap have a chance of being stopped.
