The irony of this whole Tara Reade/"Fingers" Biden situation is that if Gropin Joe came out and made a public apology to her RIGHT NOW, he could most likely contain the blast damage from this situation.
There's considerable sympathy on his side and in the middle with the independents for the #MeToo movement, and "believing all women".
Telling the truth in the forthright "common man" Joe Biden way might just defuse the bomb.
As it stands now, the longer Joe's Democrat political advisors delay the inevitable, the more collateral damage there is among his defenders, who are being forced to go into the Public Eye and mouth standard DNC lies.
The Rapin Bill/Lying Hill strategy ["Nuts And Sluts", with some Russian dressing] doesn't work here.

I disagree. They flat out made salacious charges about Brett Kavanaugh and He personally did the same to Clarence Thomas. He doesn’t slide out of this one.
The statute of limitations has passed but it had also passed with Kavanaugh.

How do you go about apologizing for allegedly pressing a young lady on Capital Hill who works for you against a wall, kissing her, and sticking your fingers inside her against her will? He has already denied it ala Billy Jeff.
How would an apology help him? The media would spin it as a non-admission apology to show he is sensitive. The voters would take it as an admission. Anything he says about this simply highlights the issue and the media will be forced to cover it thereby exposing their own hypocrisy (Kavanaugh) and further harming their weak candidate to unseat Trump.
I would be stunned if he says anything about this other than denying it. Then again it is Biden and he wants us to engage in economic intercourse and.... you know, the thing.

Joe needs to solidify his coalition, more substantively than pandering to military transgenders and he’s “worked” to bring about recently.
The sooner Tara withdraws her objection and say she is fine with Joe’s being the nominee, the better for Joe to get on with his campaign.
Such a mild endorsement would be worth those eight figures to Joe probably and then some.
But the Democrats are against non disclosure agreements. Remember how Democrats pilloried Trump over Stormy Daniels, and how Eliz. Warren went after Bloomberg in the debate over non disclosure agreements???
