Americans who feel they may have been infected with COVID can finally get some answers with a quick blood test at a local lab. Quest says results come back within 48 hours.

I’d like to know if I had it back in February, but I don’t want to know $119.00 worth.

Something to consider if you are one of those people who are planning on spending your stimulus check money on charity or large tips to your barber, etc.:
Use your stimulus money for the test. Consider it a donation to the cause of showing how many people have been exposed to it and not only lived but were not hospitalized.

Getting tested today doesn't mean you won't get it tomorrow.

I’d like to know if I had it back in February, but I don’t want to know $119.00 worth. I had the nastiest Flu I ever had, back in February, myself. 104 fever and 12 hours of chills on a Thursday.
By the time I got to the Dr's on Saturday. I was totally over whatever it was.
I am curious, not $200 curious, either. (Draw Blood Fee is extra)

There are two issues: 1) We don’t know the significance of a positive test; 2) The current tests may cross-react with other coronaviruses (the common cold).
Other than that, go for it.

Only problem is you could test positive today and get infected tomorrow.
Until a cheap, self-administered pinprick-type of test is available, it’s basically a waste of money.

You pay 119.00 to have them test you. The bonus for them is they get a copy of your DNA. No thanks.

Don’t worry, I won’t get infected. This entire exercise is to see if I already have antibodies.
