Left-wing pop icon Cher pushed the conspiracy that President Donald Trump wants the U.S. Post Office to go bankrupt to stop Americans from voting by mail in November’s presidential election.
Writing in her typically bizarre and incoherent manner, the 72-year-old signer argued that Trump, who long prided himself on the country’s economic successes before the impact of the coronavirus, wants to see businesses and states to declare bankruptcy to gain his own electoral advantage.

I worked for the USPS. Any private business run the same way as that nuthouse would be bankrupt within days.

Yes, I could have specifically reached out at that point and requested my ballot, but that’s not the point. Vote by mail is not the same thing as open polling locations. At all.
Cher didn’t invent this line of attack. Stacey Abrams said the same three days ago and was reported on FR. Must be a new line of attack. Pelosi is also saying similar things now parroting the talking points.
Ask her if she’s still “allowed” to go to the grocery store.

the U.S. Post Office has been bankrupt for sometime now ,LOL
USPS finances were fine until 2006 when Congress required it to prefund 75 years of retiree health benefits. I don’t know what the rationale for doing this is. No other govt agency is required to do this. Private businesses don’t do this.
I didn’t know there was any mail service from Jupiter, where she moved when DJT was elected.
