p
give the briefing but stop allowing questions
Reporters? I havent seen any reporters covering the White House in many years Oh, I get it, they mean the propagandists who occasionally pretend to be reporters.
And what ground did they stand on today?
Not even worried. DJT can make things very uncomfortable for the fake news.
WWHN
No questions from CNN
Did this happen today (Saturday)? or was it Friday? I can’t find today’s briefing anywhere.
Well they are going to have to throw their stupid questions at an empty podium. There was is no presser today is what I heard.
Remove all the chairs.
Replace the WH correspondents with a lottery system, rotated every few months.
Well since the courts sided with Jim Acosta when Trump originally removed his credentials basically setting a precedent that Trump cant deny these idiots access, theres nothing saying there has to be room made for them. What he should do is pack that briefing room with nothing but friendly reporters and fill in the seats in between with bodies/fluff, telling the others sorry, no vacancy
“The White House Correspondents Association assigns seats and access to reporters. Over the years, the Trump administration has tried to assert control over who attends the briefings with mixed results.”
The White House is OUR house. Why does the WHCA get to dictate anything that goes on there?
That has to stop.
What is a print pooler? Duck Duck Go gives me “print spooler”.
What reporters?
Why are they even there? I would just throw them out to the lawn and they can stream it on their phone...from Fox! . No rights violated. Screw em!
I would recommend the following:
1) No more WH press briefings
2) Press briefings can take place across the street
3) questions to be submitted in advanced in written form
4) questions will also be taken online from the web page from citizens
5) WH staff will review the questions and normalize disparate questions into a common language question
6) Questions will be acknowledged from their source news agency (CNN, citizen, etc)
7) Questions will be topical and will be sorted in the order of requests
8) The press breifing will be given as normal, and then the questions will be read and sources identified for the press corps.
9) Questions will be cut off 30 min prior to the briefing so that the responses can be formulated.
10) no questions will be taken directly
11) Each briefing will be recorded and along with a transcript, posted to the WH web page and kept current for 60 days. Beyond 60 days, a copy can be requested via email.
Throw the disruptor’s out,!
The room and its furnishings belong to the White House, not the press. Remove all of the seats and other furnishings other than the podium. They can all stand like they do on the front lawn briefings.
