This reminds me of when that month or so ago, that couple who ingested fish tank cleaner because it contained the main chemical in hydroxychloroquine in a pure form (and thus not for medicinal purposes) and died from being poisoned and the pathetic media tried to hang that one on Trump.

Trump was talking about injecting actual disinfectant in the instance being discussed. The light is a separate issue.

Trump is a big idea leader. He throws out ideas: have we thought of “x”, what about trying “y”. Then eggheads all over the world can consider this and come up with a solution.
I have this happen all of the time in my job. People ask me: can we... And, I think about what I have available, how I can exploit it, and yeah, I think I can give you exactly what you are looking for, something better, or something that is a close approximation to what you want.
This same situation happened regarding the sanitization of the N95 masks. Trump question: why do we throw them away after one use, can’t they be cleaned? Answer: yes, there is a company in Ohio that can’t get through the FDA that has this exact process.
Those who are dumb are the media who have no real technical/science based skills and run around promoting panic and misrepresenting what the President said.

Some ultraviolet radiation is bad for human tissue, particularly the eye. That dangerous UV light is not included in the therapeutic use of UV light. The UV frequencies used therapeutically don’t harm human tissue but are deadly for viruses.
