Weaponizing Biotech: How China’s Military Is Preparing for a ‘New Domain of Warfare’ [August 14, 2019]

Under Beijing's civil-military fusion strategy, the PLA is sponsoring research on gene editing, human performance enhancement, and more.

We may be on the verge of a brave new world indeed. Today’s advances in biotechnology and genetic engineering have exciting applications in medicine — yet also alarming implications, including for military affairs. China’s national strategy of military-civil fusion (军民融合) has highlighted biology as a priority, and the People’s Liberation Army could be at the forefront of expanding and exploiting this knowledge.

The PLA’s keen interest is reflected in strategic writings and research that argue that advances in biology are contributing to changing the form or character (形态) of conflict. For example:

In 2010’s War for Biological Dominance, Guo Jiwei, a professor with the Third Military Medical University, emphasizes the impact of biology on future warfare.

In 2015, then-president of the Academy of Military Medical Sciences He Fuchu argued that biotechnology will become the new “strategic commanding heights” of national defense, from biomaterials to “brain control” weapons. Maj. Gen. He has since become the vice president of the Academy of Military Sciences, which leads China’s military science enterprise.

Biology is among seven “new domains of warfare” discussed in a 2017 book by Zhang Shibo, a retired general and former president of the National Defense University, who concludes: “Modern biotechnology development is gradually showing strong signs characteristic of an offensive capability,” including the possibility that “specific ethnic genetic attacks” could be employed.

The 2017 edition of Science of Military Strategy, a textbook published by the PLA’s National Defense University that is considered to be relatively authoritative, debuted a section about biology as a domain of military struggle, similarly mentioning the potential for new kinds of biological warfare to include “specific ethnic genetic attacks.”

...to include “specific ethnic genetic attacks.”

Non Asians, I'm assuming. Although old men have proven to be hit hardest.

So first we were led to believe that the virus came about naturally from a bat at the wet market, then we find out that the bat is not sold in the wet market and is found on a cave many miles away in another province, then they tell us that it originated in a bio lab careless workers got infected and shopped at the wet market causing transmission, yesterday one of our leading military officials said that there is no evidence that the virus was a bio weapon. Seems they are easing us into something we have already known from the get go. Bio attack, now we can guess who is behind this along with china

Research an "elitist" by the name of Maurice Strong, a Canadian, IIRC. He was one of the original group pushing the carbon credit scheme. Long story short, he got into some trouble and had to flee the West. Where did he find refuge? Communist China. Just goes to show, there must be a faction in China which isn't nearly as communistic as they appear to be. IMO, many globalists likely have ties to this faction. If for no other reason than for the body parts they need from time to time.

A Tech Guru Captivated Canada. Then He Fled to China.

China’s reliance making everything was being threatened by a change in leadership in America which was a major consumer of those products. When Americans hailed their leaders decision to make many of them in their country US. Their politburo worried. Worse yet opponents to the Chinese regime in power had its citizens protesting its policies since that change in American leadership wave the American flag and present his name when doing so. All of which presented those in power the need to destroy that leader,

Would a runaway plague created by a nation which could threaten populations of an enemy cause them to react by demanding extreme restriction of movement by its population to prevent its spread ? Thus wind up fragmenting its economy

Sure looks suspicious particularly when crews of US naval vessels somehow wind up being infected by it after visiting Asian ports before Italy blew up with CCWV Chinese Communist Wuhan Virus.

To stop the return of manufacturing of products back to the US that went to China. China backers* here who’s family members are making millions from China through their political connections will be hit hard are also claiming that Trump’s alleged stock ownership in a quinine pills maker claim its a controlling interest in a product to be totally ineffective and when used requires a severe restriction of movement when near a possible carrier known as a shutdown because of its rapid transmission .*

The last major Fascist power (Germany) had a thing for producing “supermen” and a master race, too.

It’s an extension of Marxist Dogma.

I believe I’ve read during sieges, in the middle ages, bodies of those who had died from the plaque were catapulted over castle walls. There are no ends to man’s desire for a weapon to use against his fellow man.

Yes, “plaque “causes gingervitas! LOL. Auto spell.

But using plague bodies is ingenious/sick.

I don’t know why the “q” often slips past me, when I fully intended to type a “g”. I used to write words for plaques. It’s either that, a disconnect between between my brain and fingers, auto spell - it hates me - and the feeling is mutual, or my dyslexia flaring up again. Lol
