I have heard reports of people getting their stimulus checks deposited into their accounts. My son has for sure.
Mr mm went to the IRS webstie and it told him that they had not determined if we qualified or not, which is ludicrous based on the income we had for the last couple years.
Has anyone else gotten their money or had problems like this? Does anyone know how to resolve it?
People on SS will be after all deposits from IRS!!
If you are a SSA or RRB Form 1099 recipient, SSI or VA benefit recipient the IRS is working with your agency to issue your payment; your information is not available in this app yet.
I do collect social security, so perhaps it is coming through SSA payment?
That sucks, perhaps they will help?
If she is someone who does not file a return... you should go to the IRS website and use the “Non-Filer” tab. Otherwise it might take the IRS months to connect the dots.

Were in the same boat. Dont need it, but it is one way to get back some of our labor that the government confiscated from us during our working careers.
It started with check engine soon, light. It said something like “valve position sensor faulty”. I bought a new one and replaced it. It was a bear of a job. It was fairly straight forward until I tried to remove the power steering pump.
Despite several youtube videos showing it as difficult but still should come out, I could not quite get it. Finally was able to get it pried far enough that I just barely got to the bolt and got it. If I had not had the right tools I never would have gotten it done.
After finishing, the light went off and has stayed off, but now I hear the chattering. I am 73 with fairly bad arthritis so will have to have a mechanic do any more.
WRONG!
If you are trying to help, please try again.
What kind of car is it?
97 Lumina, 3.1 liter with 213,000 miles on it. I have always changed oil every 2-3000 miles using full synthetic.

Metmom asked a reasonable question.
Your help came in the form of this comment-
“It is sad that you need this money so much to worry about it.
I shall pray for you.”
Are you being presumptuous AND haughty?
Should prayer be sent your way too?
Its money you werent expecting. Stop
Is that smugness or contempt that I smell?
I accept all prayers.
Why don’t you as metmom if she got any help here...
Are you sure about that Kit Kat?
I thought that one of the primary driving criteria, was to pay those with a low income first, then- pay the highest income levels last, when and where- the information is readily available for the IRS to make said determinations.
One glaring exception to this criteria, is that the very first to get paid (apparently) are anybody that had direct deposit and had already paid their 2019 taxes. My cousin got a stimulus check deposited yesterday, and my brother got his deposited today.
we got the same message...my daughter lives in same area received her check today.
Yeah, my son did do his taxes early and I believe he already got his refund before TSHTF.
We have not yet filed because mr mm does not believe in doing today what can be put off until tomorrow.
Thanks.
April 17 of what year?
This, after all, is the federal government.
That isn't what we've seen in practice.
The feds can work at lightning speed if it wants.
One year we owed a few dollars and I mailed in the check, and the about the next day I went to the bank and somehow it came up that the check had already cleared.
I honestly didn't think the check I sent in would have even gotten there through snail mail that fast, much less be cashed.
Especially considering how long it takes to GIVE you YOUR money when THEY owe YOU.
No, we haven’t filed yet so it’s definitely NOT a refund.
My son filed already and got both his refund and then just recently, his stimulus check.
