The COVID-19 death tallies we’re seeing are really DEATH CERTIFICATE tallies and we’ve no reason to trust them. But we’ve every reason to think they’ve got to be significantly exaggerating the real number of people the virus is killing. And there are enough hospital deaths from other causes every day that the directives and financial incentives encouraging false diagnoses only have to cause the virus to appear on a small percentage of ordinarily occurring death certificates to account for most of the deaths currently attributed to COVID-19. In fact, as hard as it may be to fathom, it would be more likely that no one has died of COVID-19 than that the numbers we’re getting don’t significantly over-represent those who have.

I literally hate headlines that use the word literally.
In Italy it was even official that everyone who died in a hospital was ascribed to the CCPV. I figured they were doing that her, too, because Federal money comes to every CCPV death. This virus is going to prove the greatest storm over nothing in history. I still believe that all the government panic stemmed from the Chinese reaction in WuHan. They acted as if they had let loose a real killer on the order of Black Death. That is what convinced me that it was designed to be a weapon of war. I thought it had escaped then read someone who speculated that the best way to launch an attack on the West is to infect your own people and let thousands of them fan out across the world. Whats a a couple of million dead Chinese to the Party?

Where Did You Get That Fact?
We are being inundated every day with computational findings, conclusions, and statistics. In op-eds, policy debates, and public discussions numbers are presented with the finality of a slammed door. In fact we need to know how these findings were reached, so we can evaluate their relevance, their credibility, resolve conflicts when they differ and make better decisions. Even figuring out where a number came from is a challenge, let alone trying to understand how it was determined.

It should be easy to test by trying to falsify his hypothesis. If this conflation and over counting is not material then death certificate totals for all other likely causes akin to CV-19 like pneumonia, COPD, CHF , influenza should be about the same as last year.

Why did 3,710 people die in New York City last week when in an average week only 1,090 people die? Did they bury mannequins from Saks 5th Ave?
What is the death rate from regular flu if you don’t count those with underlying conditions? What is the death rate from cancer if don’t count people who have hypertension or asthma, which in themselves are almost never fatal? If you don’t count deaths with an underlying condition, than the death rate FROM EVERY DISEASE IS MUCH LOWER.

I’ve read elsewhere that the average number of flu and pneumonia deaths has dropped. It seems they have moved over to the COVID-19 column.

Keep in mind, covid-19 deaths are less than 1% of total deaths every year in US. (2.2 million die every year in US from various causes). So statistically the deviation from other causes will be insignificant.
When everything is political including disease, you no longer have a Nation.
