Dozens of restaurants and retail businesses across San Francisco are boarding up their storefronts with plywood, lending the normally lively retail corridors a feeling of neighborhoods about to be slammed by a hurricane, rather than one under siege by a pandemic.
“When the times get tough, the tough gets going,” that’s the way Evan Kidera, owner of Señor Sisig describes a video of his restaurant getting vandalized two days ago.

Luxury retailers like Fendi, Louis Vuitton and Gucci were temporarily outfitted in plywood boards — inspired by fears of vandalism and looting. Video below:

Construction companies keep getting calls to board-up more businesses because for many, covering a glass or door is less expensive than losing what’s inside.
“Just close everything, close the doors the windows, and board up everything. We don’t want any accessibility to anybody. People are desperate right now to protect their businesses,” said Edri.
The interesting fact is that the police have not reported any incidents including looters.
But the sad reality is that Pelosi’s San Francisco is sinking every day and the reason is more than obvious, their democratic leadership and the brazen act that come to life 5 years ago! While our mainstream media is focused on how President Trump is handling the “China” virus, Pelosi’s San Francisco is going down.

The Democrats in San Francisco have also made theft under $950 a misdemeanor & cops won’t even arrest you for the crime.
Not surprisingly, this has had very predictable results.
It turns out if you tell people they won’t get arrested for stealing, it’s like a free pass to go shopping.
The brazen acts of petty theft and shoplifting are a dangerous and all-too-common consequence of Proposition 47, a referendum passed five years ago that critics say effectively gives shoplifters and addicts the green light to commit crimes as long as the merchandise they steal or the drugs they take are less than $950 in value. The decision to downgrade theft of property valued below the arbitrary figure from a felony to a misdemeanor, together with selective enforcement that focuses on more “serious” crimes, has resulted in thieves knowing they can brazenly shoplift and merchants knowing the police will not respond to their complaints, say critics.
Gavin Newsom doesn’t apparently have any plans to open up these businesses anytime soon either that or I’ll go with the latter is he planning riots?

Plywood over windows is really more psychological than anything else because looters will tear it right off if they want inside. They did in Ferguson. If they’re serious about protecting their stores they’ll be on the roof with firearms or even inside. But, this is San Francisco after all, they’re not as bright as Korean shop owners in LA.
