In his iconic style, President Donald Trump took to Twitter Monday to rip into the liberal New York Times and The Washington Post. The president tweeted that “Advertising in the Failing New York Times is WAY down. Washington Post is not much better.” Trump continued: “I can’t say whether this is because they are Fake News sources of information, to a level that few can understand, or the Virus is just plain beating them up. Fake News is bad for America!”

Basically Trump thinks: "What is the fake virtue they are most wrapped up in today?" and then he does or says exactly something in direct violation of that, so that they will all sing.
It's like in Hunger Games, how they could make all the mockingjay's speak.

Their only stories these days is just “reporting” what POTUS said in a conference and calling it stupid. No investigation, no reporting, no journalism... just BS. Reminds me of all the jokes we used to make about Pravda growing up.

I bought an Arizona Republic Sunday newspaper for the first time in years.It was the same old price but only as big as the daily paper use to be. Sad.
Trump attached the Times and the Post. So what else is new?
If I’m pres, I say “Seeing that the NYT and the WASH POST have attempted to subvert democracy with their advocacy reporting and fake news, by the powers invested in me, I hereby close both papers down entirely. All publishing must cease by tomorrow at 12 midnight.”
Use the Defense Production Act and make them both produce higher quality TP than they do now....
Too bad he can't attach them to a large anchor and push them off the deck of the aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan.

Here’s some helpful info. The NYT is owned by Mexican Billionaire Carlos Slim and WApost Billionaire Jeff Bezos. The didn’t buy those for the advertising dollars they bring in, they bought them to use propaganda for their empires. They could care less if anyone advertises with them or buys a subscription. They only use it as the source to spread a normally false story for their agenda.
