Are you or an immediate (i.e., household, close-relationship) friend/family member a patient with COVID-19? Are or have been positive?

My son tested positive and finishes his 14 day quarantine Wed but then it’s another 7 days with no symptoms before he’s off quarantine.
If the week after exposure and waiting on test results is added—he will have had about 4 weeks of quarantine.
My daughter who worked in a nursing home until a few weeks ago know 2 of the 3 residents who have it and also one of the cleaning staff. One friends uncle passed. Other then that havent heard of anything closer to 2 degrees. Thank God. Lots of people say they think the might have had it. When I went to the docs who has an office in the hospital last Thursday for my treatment, I overheard that there were multiple cases in the ICU and were complaining they they couldnt believe boxes of masks and purell were stolen from the hospital.
Did you happen to see that numbnuts sign language interpreter the other day? He was signing for Jenkins.
I have two immediate relatives who got it, both are approximately 63 years old.
Her-diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in her mid-30’s. She was admitted to the hospital on a Friday for pneumonia where she tested positive. She recovered and was released after 5 days and is doing great now. Not much info on her symptoms since she just thought she had pneumonia.
Him-Had a splitting headache on Wednesday before his wife was admitted. Went to bed and woke up tired and sore Thursday. Felt fine Friday but tested positive at the same time as his wife.
Now that's funny and not fear mongering at all. Hahahahaha...
I have two friends (who live together) who have it and are isolated at home. So far so good for them. One acquaintance has it but I’ve gotten no other news about him since hearing he had tested positive.
I believe I had this on in February, the first symptoms showed up around 3pm on the 19th. A slight dry cough that rose in intensity until 6pm when the headache started. I checked and I had a fever of 102.5, so not too bad, but needed watching. I started to get fatigued and my muscles ached and I felt dehydrated and I was drinking water like crazy. This went on until Friday morning when I had to pick my wife up at the airport (40min drive). By the time I got home, I got the chills which were rather strong and lasted about an hour or two and then everything stopped around noon.
I figured I was good, got cleaned up and saw some friends that night at my house (stayed a good distance from them just in case - and I had stayed in a guest room while sick), but the slight fever came back and I had a second wave of dry coughs. At 5:30am Sat the fever broke and I sweated like crazy for about 4 hours. When that stopped, I felt good, almost strangely strong, though I found I NO stamina at all. I could walk across the house and get winded.
The fatigue lasted in all, about 2-3 weeks. I knew it wasn't flu by this time and I was doing breathing exercises to strengthen my lungs, which took another 2-3 weeks to get back to full strength.
I noted that Ibuprofen did in fact NOT work on the fever, which is what I usually take in small doses to try to reduce and keep fevers to a healthy 101-102 range which burns things off faster.
Overall it was 36 hours from first onset to fever break and I have an ironclad immune system. The coughs were dry and spasmodic during the time and my chest felt heavy. The worst by far was the short duration of chills, I really shook bad for about a half hour. Most other symptoms were simply annoying. None of my friends, my 77-year old mother or 103 year old grandmother got sick, or if they did they were asymptomatic. One of my friends did say they were under the weather a bit the following week, but nothing serious. My wife was also sick with very mild symptoms at the same time, but she was on a business trip to California.
Haha, I’m dealing with our friend Clay too. I saw a post somewhere in the haze of the past few days, that he posted on twitter for people to snitch on non essential businesses and Tom Fitton picked up on it. I tried to call him, but his mailbox was full, of course.
Our friend Clay is the new corn pone gestapo.
Clay Jenkins...phhhllltt.. what a tard
“...and were complaining they they couldnt believe boxes of masks and purell were stolen from the hospital...”
A little pandemic can’t keep democrats down.
Thanks for the ping.
“...I got the chills which were rather strong and lasted about an hour or two and then everything stopped around noon...”
Chills and subsequent über sweating are usually signs the fever is breaking.
I’m pretty suspicious of all the government numbers BUT
I know only one person, a woman, who tested positive, was hospitalized with a ventilator; and she passed away on Thursday. She seemed normally healthy when I last saw her about a month ago.

My brother-in-law’s father and sister lived in the same assisted living facility in New York City because both had significant pre-existing conditions. They had not been in contact with each other for several weeks because the father was recovering from a stroke. The father died last Wednesday. The WuFlu test came back positive only after he died.
The next day, Thursday, the sister developed a fever. On Friday morning she was taken to the ER. The doctor said she had the classic WuFlu symptoms. She was put on a ventilator about noon and died yesterday (Saturday) morning. As I wrote earlier, both had pre-existing conditions but both went very quickly.
There are no tests in Nebraska. So any stats coming out of there are guesses.
SIL’s Aunt and Uncle (married couple) in Owensboro, KY. Aunt appears recovered. Husband is critical, and on ventilator.
Believed to have been exposed at Church or Social Gathering.
I believe the China virus was active in California from December, UC Berkeley students from China brought it in. Here is why I think this was very likely in regards to California...
I am a resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, and have links to UC Berkeley via one of my relatives. She was a UC graduate and soon took a job in a San Francisco Biolab (yup) in November of 2020. She is young, early 20’s, in December around Christmas she became very sick after initial dry coughs.
I had visited her just after Christmas, she was bad off, she was missing work by December 23rd. My visit was early January, I think just after New Years. She said she was doing “better” but she was very bad off, what was dry coughs turned into hacking up crap from the lungs and very weak and tired and breathing issues.
I remember distinctly, going outside to the back of her Berkeley California apartment, it was nighttime, to throw her garbage out. It was dimly lit, embedded in my mind what I saw, there was another apartment complex just across the back door that I exited from, and I hear violent coughing, coughing, and I look in the direction of the sounds which was an apartment window just across about only 18 feet away, second floor, no drapes, you can see right into that apartment window where there was a Chinese girl obviously a UC Berkeley student attempting to work at a laptop but going into complete fits and she was wearing a mask over her face. While I have no proof, the person was likely a foreign national from China attending UC Berkeley for which there are a lot.
This person was scary sick. I mean really sick such that I scared even me.
When I got back to my relatives room, I started washing everything, that is how bad it scared me. I even washed with bleach my relatives bathroom and tub.
By January 4 I was very very sick. Started as dry coughs, then became much worse. The coughs would not stop, and they turned to hacking up crap and at one point even I saw blood in my cough that I spit up into the sick. I was so weak, it was scary. And yes, I felt breathing problems. I recall being “hot”, but I did not take my temperature. It was really, really bad. I recall saying out loud, at night, when it was worse and when it was cold due to winter, “will this ever end?” and “God help me” etc. etc...
As I recall, I was in hell for two weeks total.
I think I had it, in retrospect. And around Berkeley California, I know for a fact many students were really sick in December and January, and many were foreign national students from China.
I read today that over 430,000 nationals came to the USA on direct flights from China during December and January up until Trump issued the travel ban from China that saved countless lives and for which he was called a “racist” and a “xenophobe” for doing so. The entire impeachment farce was the 24x7 endless news cycle by the leftist media and this impeachment crap went on until February of 2020, all the while the Dems did nothing about the virus which was becoming clear was a pandemic in China.
Maybe I am immune now to an extent. I am doing good. But I am practicing strict stay home and social distancing, but on occasion I have to go into Berkeley again. It is strange, out of Berkeley no one has those “black masks” that so many in Berkeley have and wear. If others out of Berkeley have masks, it is only the white type. Why so many “black masks” in Berkeley? I believe this were brought in by students from China attending UC Berkeley who knew shit was already hitting the fan.
