If anyone is listening to Rush today? He keeps stopping himself during his thoughts about what's going on with our country.... and says..."I have to stop, I'm getting dangerously close to saying something..."
He clearly is absolutely flustered and shocked how easily this country has been shut down. He has said several times that this can't continue, and he's right.
I suspect he is stopping himself short from putting forth the idea that it's time for Americans to stand up in defiance of all these shutdown orders. He just doesn't want civil unrest pinned on him.
According to what he said yesterday on the subject at hand that “team” is two people. Both leftists.
Well if this virus is all it’s cracked up to be we should see mass infections and deaths on a near vertical trajectory in Mexico, Brazil and most all South America countries any day now.
Should be happening as we speak as they are openly taking a complete opposite approach to mitigation as we are here in the USA. Keep an eye on those countries.
Rush had mentioned that California today should have many more cases than NY because of the influx of Chinese american citizens recently.

I believe, and I am not alone in this belief, that God gave us President Trump so that we, as the Church, could prepare ourselves, reach others with the gospel and pray for and be a testimony to our children. The Restrainer (the Holy Spirit) has been holding back what the devil is trying to accomplish with whatever little time he has left. This is why the Left has fought viciously to remove DJT, because we battle not against flesh and blood but against what Paul called “spiritual wickedness in high places.” Abortion, a breakdown of the family, perverts dressed as women and corrupting innocent children, rampant homosexuality, hatred of God and Christians.
This is real. If they remove him or finally get the power, we need, as the Lord’s Church, to pray like never before for lost loved ones and for His return. This is more than a virus; this is spiritual.

If they lock everything down and a month from now the all clear signal gets sent out, they can all say what a great job they did in keeping everyone safe....However, if they open everything back up and cases start to pop up, it would curtains for the political career....
Even here in Florida, DeSantis has been a solid Governor so far, he’s shut all the bars and restaurants down, has started stopping cars coming into the state and in effect asking for papers....all because the are over cautious and can’t afford to look bad....sad but true.
The 1918 flu went through in two waves. The first wave in the spring was not unusual. The 2nd wave in fall after the virus had mutated was the crowd killer.
To further your point. Everyone that babbles on about how the economy is going to magically bounce right back ignorantly assumes that all of the states want the economy to bounce right back. I’ll bet you a large sum of money that Democrat governors such as Cuomo, Newsom, Northam, etc will purposely drag out their lockdowns as long as possible to continue to damage the economy (ie Trump). If Trump gives the green light and 20% of the country decides to stay down, because “Trump is putting American’s at risk”, the deeper down the economic hellhole we go. The Democrat party views this as all out war on Trump and his supporters.
There is literally zero chance this economy bounces right back to anything close to where it was before. Uncharted waters.

With regard to the two doctors, Fauci and Brix, I’m not personally assigning political agendas to them. Maybe they have them, I don’t know.
But I am assigning Doctors on the President’s team to them, though, and I’m going to take them at their word up and until the President fires one or both of them for lying, which he has not done.
Why should I doubt either of them, and believe internet conspiracy theorists instead?

Trump has been saying that he wants to lift the lockdown on unaffected areas. Just isolate hot zones like NYC and Seattle.
Same with my husband. His pre-op appointment ,for knee replacement, was also on the 26th. His surgery was scheduled for April 8th. He was so looking forward to getting it over despite an uncomfortable recovery. There’s no telling when he’ll be able to reschedule and he’s just miserable.

Do you have a medical degree that I’m not aware of? Because if not, I’m just going to take that statement and toss it in the wastebasket where it belongs.
But help me by clarifying...Trump hasnt locked down anybody (except maybe federal employees), only made recommendations, correct? Its the state governors that are issuing these shut down orders.
So how can Trump restart the country amongst state governed by dems?
