The medias dialog is not making sense.
I’ve seen one or two videos...on TV...of Times Square. Basically empty!
Of course the hospitals are either closed or on minimal service because of social distancing. It is the ED and ICUs that are kept busy.
Street traffic here is like a Sunday morning.
Try earthcam.com and go to the Times Square cameras. Looks pretty empty.
I have nephew that is a first responder supervisor in Philly. He said the coronoavirus is not even blip on the radar.
They are still busy with the normal mayhem of deep blue cities like murder, stabbings, shootings, fight etc, etc.
I guess, like the MSM, you could find a video of an Italian hospital, post it and claim it is in the USA,
Morons wasting gas driving around taking videos of not so empty streets.
Lets see, hmm. Not staying home. Driving around using gas so they’ll need to fuel up and touch contaminated gas pump handles. Then they have to go in to pay and touch everything in the store and have customers and the worker cough on them. Then they may get into an accident during all this senseless driving around so that brings out the other car’s driver, the cops, the wrecker guy and the repair people. And you may end up taking up a hospital bed that could have been used for a CV patient and you’ve run up a $$$ bill. After going home after your hospital visit, you’ve brought your family CV with you.
People, just stay home.
I saw a bunch of those videos on Twitter yesterday. But, they mostly were just scenes outside the hospitals and in the garages... and, you really couldn’t tell when they were taken.
but, yea... NO activity, anywhere.
Tucker shows empty city scenes, on his show, when he goes to commercial break.
Hes shown various areas of NYC and Chicago. Like ghost towns :-(
OANN shows live shots of Brooklyn Bridge, in their breakaways. All but empty.
I saw a vid of two guys touring NYC, last weekend. They walked half the city with a selfie stick. Streets were empty except for some guy who started following them, because he didnt like them filming. A NYPD chased the stalker guy off.
I’m not sure I’ll believe them unless there’s a time/date stamp displayed prominently.
I drove into Baltimore this AM on I95 corridor, normally packed even on good days; today traffic was, at best, 15% of what’s normal, there were LARGE stretches where the closest car ahead or behind me was at least a half mile.
Social distancing interstate style.
Few nights ago I left clinic at 8PM and driving home towards DC there were several times I couldn’t see headlights in my rear view mirror nor taillights ahead of me.
Spooky. Bust as an essential healthcare worker I’m enjoying this one aspect of the plague.
